On the infracommunity structure of adult cestodes in freshwater fishes.

The distribution–co-occurrence and exchange of adult cestode species in two fish communities (the Bothnian Bay and Lake Yli-Kitka both in Finland) was studied. Coexistence of two or more mature cestode species in the same fish host population was zero for all fish species studied (33) except pike in the Bothnian Bay and whitefish in the lake. It was found that 60% of the fish species studied in the Bothnian Bay and 80% of the fish species studied from Lake Yli-Kitka harboured only 1 mature cestode species. These cities are divided into three groups: the large port-cities, the medium rank “city-port” cities, the riverfront cities. For every city, we define the status of urban environment and population, the trend for port and airport traffic and the strategies for urban regeneration.

According to the political scientist, it is a phenomenon from the sphere of governance, where different imperious and subordinate entities are in a relationship with partially common goals and partly contradictory, but remain always mutually dependent. The importance of the political opposition depends not only on the adopted institutional solutions, but primarily the political culture. Just as every society has the government it deserves, by analogy, the same is also true of the opposition.

Arvien vairāk uzdevumiem tiek izgudroti kvantu algoritmi, kas ir pārāki pār labākajiem zināmajiem klasiskajiem algoritmiem. Bieži šiem algoritmiem nepieciešamais atmiņas daudzums ir liels, kas pašlaik mazās pieejamās kvantu atmiņas dēļ nav optimāli. Tādēļ ir būtiski apskatīt algoritmus, kuru atmiņas sarežģītība ir samazināta, palielinot laika sarežģītību, bet kas vēl aizvien sniedz uzlabojumu pār klasiskajiem algoritmiem. The formulation of Union citizenship has concentrated on rights since the 1970s. In the Maastricht and subsequent EU treaties, Union citizenship is defined through rights. Against this background, discussion on rights in the EU documents on citizenship analysed in this article is surprisingly scarce. The research material consists of 15 documents produced by EU institutions in 2003–2007 as part of three programmes on citizenship. In the documents, the discussion on rights focuses on mobility instead of other aspects of rights.
