Para ello, se utiliza el concepto de internacionalismo para estudiar el caso particular del Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE) durante la Segunda República española. Influence of vegetation recovery on soil hydrology and erodibility following fire: an 11-year investigation

The present study investigates long-term changes in soil hydrological properties and erodibility during the regrowth of different types and densities of vegetation following a severe wildfire in the Serra Grossa Range, eastern Spain. Twelve plots of similar slope and soil characteristics, naturally recolonized by four different plant species (trees, herbs, shrubs and dwarf shrubs) were examined using rainfall simulations during an 11-year period. The mean erosion rate was 80 g m−2 h−1, 6 months after the fire under wet-winter conditions, declining to 30 g m−2 h−1 in the following summer and reaching <10 g m−2 h−1 after 2 years. We performed a pedological study of the variability in soils in a floodplain area of a semiarid region in southwestern Sicily. The objectives of our research were to (i) investigate the role of parent material, erosion, and distribution processes on soil pedogenesis and horizon differentiation; (ii) evaluate the statistical distribution of soil properties; and (iii) interpret these distributions in terms of pedogenic and other processes. Phagocytosis of SRBC by guinea-pig peritoneal macrophages is enhanced by opsonizing IgG antibody alone. IgM antibody requires the presence of bound C3. Treatment of C3b coated SRBC with purified C3b inactivator (yielding EAIgM C1423d) does not reduce attachment to, and phagocytosis by, peritoneal macrophages. This finding suggests the existence of a C3d receptor on peritoneal macrophages. EC43b intermediates which have been produced by removing IgM antibody by mercaptoethanol treatment and by subsequent removal of C1 and C2, are phagocytosed despite the absence of IgM antibody. Cutaneous lesions induced by infection of mice with the protozoan parasite, Leishmania mexicana, contain abundant amounts of a high molecular mass proteophosphoglycan (PPG), which is secreted by the amastigote stage residing in phagolysosomes of macrophages and can then be released into the tissue upon rupture of the infected cells. Amastigote PPG forms sausage-shaped but soluble particles and belongs to a novel class of serine-rich proteins that are extensively O-glycosylated by phosphooligosaccharides capped by mannooligosaccharides. Abstract Juvenile onset psoriasis is strongly associated with the HLA-class I genes Cw6 and B57 whereas patients with psoriatic arthritis show an increased frequency of HLA-B27. It is unclear whether additional major histocompatibility genes also increase disease susceptibility. Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the clinical manifestation of atherosclerosis, a chronic inflammatory disease promoted by several risk factors such as dyslipidemia, type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and smoking. Acute CVD events are the result of an unresolved inflammatory chronic state that promotes the rupture of unstable plaque lesions. Of note, the existing intensive therapies modify risk factors but do not prevent life-threatening recurrent ischemic events in high-risk patients, who have a residual inflammatory risk displayed by increased C-reactive protein (CRP) levels.
