Assessing Statistical Anxiety Among Online and Traditional Students

The purpose of this study was to determine whether scores on the Statistical Anxiety Scale (SAS) manifest in the same way for students in online and traditional statistics courses. Tests of measurement invariance indicated that invariance of the two-factor model of the SAS held at every level. Therefore, we compared the statistical anxiety of online and traditional students. Results indicated that online and traditional statistics students reported comparable levels of anxiety with slightly less anxiety in terms of seeking help for traditional students. Rocuronium (ROC) and Vecuronium (VEC) are the most currently used steroidal non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking (MNB) agents. Sugammadex (SUG) rapidly reverses steroidal NMB agents after anaesthesia. The present study was conducted in order to evaluate neuronal effects of SUG alone and in combination with both ROC and VEC. Using MTT, CASP-3 activity and Western-blot we determined the toxicity of SUG, ROC or VEC in neurons in primary culture. SUG induces apoptosis/necrosis in neurons in primary culture and increases cytochrome C (CytC), apoptosis-inducing factor (AIF), Smac/Diablo and Caspase 3 (CASP-3) protein expression. Šī maģistra darba mērķis ir atbildēt uz jautājumu, kāda saistība pastāv starp vecāku pašefektivitātes izjūtu, vecāk uztverto sociālo atbalstu un izjustajām depresijas pazīmēm ar bērnu audzināšanas pieejām? Pētījumā piedalījās 96 vecāki, no tiem 94 mātes un 2 tēvi, kuriem ir bērni vecumā no 3-7 gadu vecumam, ar noteikumu, ka nav uzsākuši mācības skolā.
