In this work the first results of experimental research are described, which began in the 2006 summer season and is still underway, on the performance of a primary air system integrated with radiant ceiling panels that runs in the hospital rooms in the maternity ward of the Maggiore Hospital of Bologna. A photovoltaic panel coupled with a Phase Changing Material heat storage system in hot climates

Nowadays, there is a great impulse in the field of photovoltaic cell systems (PV) to develop new devices with better energy conversion performances and higher cost effectiveness. This paper is focused on the design and development of a modified PV system, consisting of a normal PV panel coupled with a Phase Change Material (PCM). PCMs are "latent" energy storage materials, using chemical bonds to store and release heat. The system is based on the idea that decreasing the operating temperature of the panel causes an increase in its energy conversion efficiency. The technology of dry assembly to produce multi-layer panels is an efficient alternative to traditional systems. Eco-sustainable systems are increasingly studied, particularly fiber reinforced composites for external cladding, based on natural fibers. The catalogue is dedicated to the artistic research of Yumiko Kimura (Tokyo, 1961) and Jun Sato (Tokyo, 1947). The catalogue was made on the occasion of the exhibition "Geometric Universes", which presented a selection of works by the Japanese artist in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento and then at the FAM gallery with the patronage of the Museum of Geometric and MADI Art in Dallas and the inclusion in the official celebrations of the 150th anniversary of relations between Japan and Italy.
