El texto propone un estudio comparativo entre la novela "El idiota" de F. M. Dostoievski y su adaptación cinematográfica por Akira Kurosawa en 1951. Más concretamente, se analiza la presencia en la cinta del director nipón de «lo carnavalesco», rasgo característico de la novelística del escritor ruso que Mijail Bajtín definió en su obra "Problemas de la poética de Dostoievski".

Les "paradoxes de la coincidència" es consideren generalment com una bona raó per afavorir el perdurantisme a l'endurantisme. No obstant això, per diferents raons, tant C. Gilmore com M. McGrath argumenten en contra d'aquesta opinió generalitzada. En aquest article, avaluo els seus arguments i defenso la tesi contrària: que les paradoxes de la coincidència sí que donen algun tipus de suport al perdurantisme. International audience; In Western countries, recent decades have witnessed a revolution toward gender equality. Inequalities have been greatly reduced in areas such as education or employment. Because inequalities lead to distress, this development has largely benefited women. One notable exception is the realm of parenting, which has remained rife with inequalities even in the most egalitarian countries.
