International audience; In France, and particularly in the Paris Region, rising petrol prices and deteriorating economic conditions are impacting on household budgets, especially in suburban areas where travel is highly car-dependent (Dupuy, 1999; Newman and Kenworthy, 1989). Agglomeration and dispersion of economic activities in and around Paris: An exploratory spatial data analysis

The agglomeration patterns of twenty-six manufacturing and service sectors in and around Paris in 1999 are analysed. The method used measures the intensity of spatial agglomeration and identifies the location patterns of economic sectors. First the locational Gini coefficient and Moran’s I statistics of global spatial autocorrelation are computed. These provide different but complementary information about the spatial agglomeration of the sectors under study. Then exploratory spatial data analysis tools are applied. Moran scatterplots and local indicators of spatial association statistics reveal great diversity in location patterns across sectors.

Diplomdarbā “Parīzes šiks mūsdienu restorānu interjera dizainā” sastāv no piecām nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek aprakstīta Parīzes arhitektūras un interjera dizaina vēsture, tā ietekme uz “Parīzes šika” veidošanos, kā arī pētīta restorānu vēsture. Otrajā nodaļā tiek pētīti elementi, kas raksturo “Parīzes šika” interjeru. Trešajā nodaļā tiek analizēti un aprakstīti psiholoģiskie faktori, kas ietekmē restorānu dizainu – apgaismojums, krāsu lietojums un atmosfēras nozīme interjerā. Empīriskajā daļā tiek veikts salīdzinošais pētījums par “Parīzes šikam” atbilstošiem restorāna interjeriem, kā arī tiek intervēta arhitekte, daudzu restorānu interjeru autore, Anda Ozoliņa. In the 17th century Paris, salons, held bywomen, modeled and refi ned norms of behavior. These regular gatherings of famous people connected with culture included discussions about various subjects whose order was to refi ne the participants’ taste through subtle and exquisite conversation forms. These made women become not only privileged interlocutors but also literary critics who evaluated as well the creators as their works. Those feminine literary judgments were generally considered as positive because of the very natural character of women’s expression. However, those who criticized this activity accused women with lack of solid education that is necessary to judge any literary work.
