Can Public-Private Partnerships be applied to global affairs and governance? This paper reviews the existing relations between public and private global actors. I argue that current international politics is largely an outcome of these relations. Although for the foreseeable future the role of traditional nation-states on the global scene should not be dismissed, they come under the constant pressure of different private actors, particularly of MNCs and NGOs. This qualitative study investigated talk and interaction as process factors potentially influencing outcomes in abuser group intervention. The findings showed that (a) abusers participate in group programs with considerably different degrees of motivation; (b) the interaction in abusers’ various stages of change is characterized by different qualities; and (c) group counselors face a challenge in adapting their ways of working to abusers’ various needs and backgrounds. The findings demonstrate the importance of attending to the interactional elements in abuser treatment programs and show the value of matching an abuser’s needs and degree of motivation with the timing of interventions. This article examines secondary school student and teachers cooperation through learning mathematics. The aim of the study is to find out whether the teacher and student cooperation is a partnership. The partnership is viewed as a cooperation where involved work toward mutual goals. Secondary school student - teacher partnership is possible if the teacher trusts students and together with them chooses the learning objectives, the teaching aids and methods of learning. Identity configurations across love and work in emerging adults in romantic relationships

Love and work constitute two life-defining identity domains for emerging adults. The present study utilized a five-dimensional identity model and examined identity configurations across these two domains, capturing the degree to which identity statuses correspond across domains. A sample of German 18–30-year-olds who were either working or studying and engaged in a romantic relationship was assessed at baseline and three years later.
