Modern lifestyle, excessive chemicalization of agricultural products, excessive processing and refining of food, cause a decrease in daily intake of magnesium, cation with an extremely important role in prevention and treatment of many diseases. As a result, there arises the need for extra magnesium intake in the form of dietary supplements. Maģistra darba „Pilsētvide latviešu dzejā 1900–1925” mērķis ir izpētīt pilsētas vidi latviešu dzejā (1900–1925), kas publicēta periodikā. Darba teorētiskajā daļā sniegts kultūrvēsturisks ieskats 20. gs. sākuma pilsētā, uzmanību pievēršot gan pilsētas vēsturiskajai situācijai, gan latviešu dzejas ainai un urbānajiem motīviem tajā. Tāpat aplūkotas kultūras teorijas par pilsētu, piedāvājot dažādus skatījumus uz to. Bakalaura darbs „Plaušu vēža pacientu aprūpe pēcoperācijas periodā ķirurģijas nodaļā” izstrādāts ar mērķi – analizēt plaušu vēža pacientu aprūpi pēcoperācijas periodā ķirurģijas nodaļā. Block copolymers from ionic liquids for the preparation of thin carbonaceous shells

This paper describes the controlled radical polymerization of an ionic-liquid monomer by RAFT polymerization. This allows the control over the molecular weight of ionic liquid blocks in the range of 8000 and 22000 and of the block-copolymer synthesis. In this work we focus on block copolymers with an anchor block. They can be used to control the formation of TiO2 nanoparticles, which are functionalized thereafter with a block of ionic-liquid polymer. Pyrolysis of these polymer functionalized inorganic nanoparticles leads to TiO2 nanoparticles coated with a thin carbonaceous shell. Such materials may, e.g., be interesting as battery materials.

The research aim of the article is to determine the legal rules related to marriage in the earliest writings of the primary Christianity, that is dated to the post-apostolic period and to the activities of the apologists of the IIth century. The research query indicated that the writers of the post-apostolic period put more emphasis on maintaining by the spouses harmonious relationships between each other, preserving evangelical recommendations and gaining moral virtues. The human has few types of sex - somatic, psychological and social, genetic, gonadal, genital, and hormonal. Individual elements of human sexuality interact by strengthening, confirming or denying one another. Moreover, they form a "mosaic" which means every person is a little different. This article presents the process of shaping of sex identity in the prenatal period, taking into account factors that affect it. It also underlines the importance of the functioning of the reproductive period of psycho-sexual health of subsequent generations.
