The paper presents the results of a research aiming at proving the efficacy of perspective restitution from photos for the reconstruction of buildings and sites that disappeared in the past century. The case study is the town of Messina, sited at the north-eastern corner of Sicily (Italy), facing the homonymous strait that divides Sicily from the Italian peninsula; in 1908 Messina and Reggio Calabria, at the opposite side of the strait, were levelled to the ground by a powerful earthquake, followed by a tsunami.No building or monument survived the destruction: a new town with the same name took the site of Messina. Il principale elemento di novità che la prospettiva aristotelica è in grado di introdurre nel dibattito contemporaneo sulle emozioni consiste nella natura specificamente retorica dell’indagine in grado di far emergere, di più e meglio che in altre prospettive, il nesso tra corpo, linguaggio e socialità nell’animale umano.
Stit Frames as Action Systems

Stit semantics gives an account of action from a certain perspective: actions are seen not as operations performed in action systems and yielding new states of affairs, but rather as selections of preexistent trajectories of the system in time. Main problems of stit semantics are recapitulated. The interrelations between stit semantics and the approach based on ordered action systems are discussed more fully.

En este trabajo se establecen las diferencias y convergencias principales entre los modelos cognitivos de reestructuración, los constructivistas y los contextuales. Partiendo de una breve revisión histórica se podrá enmarcar el surgimiento de cada uno de estos enfoques e, igualmente, las diferencias epistemológicas y ontológicas entre ellos. Estos modelos se analizan, principalmente, haciendo hincapié en sus conceptos principales y en las técnicas desarrolladas que, en principio, serían coherentes con su marco teórico.
