Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is an acquired autoimmune disease characterized by thromboembolic events, pregnancy morbidity, and the presence of antiphospholipid (aPL) antibodies. There is sound evidence that aPL act as pathogenic autoantibodies being responsible for vascular clots and miscarriages. The article reflects on kindergartens’ specificity, focusing on the intersubjective perspective. By this perspective, the developement and the construction of the Self can’t be separated from the perception of the “other” and it is a process working, since birth, through an “embodied relationship”. According to the infant research and the neurosciences studies, the article analyzes the quality of the relationships between adults and children and explores how it can affect personality development, self-image, and learning processes. Finally, the professional skills necessary for educators in kindergartens are deepened, looking at the needs of the children during their first years.

This study extends our knowledge of leadership development, specifically Master's in Business Administration (MBA) programs, from a gender perspective. It presents a comprehensive case, women-only development program and conducts an empirical, longitudinal, qualitative study of the effect of one of the program modules, namely, the women-only MBA, on the women's career success. The empirical study focused on self-efficacy mechanisms for explaining the women's appraisals of their changes in abilities affecting their career success during the MBA program. Heading at Enabling Settings for Learning

The paper draws on two cases of learning settings that were converted to meet up-to-date educational requirements within these learning contexts. The authors address the role of stakeholder perspectives. Focusing on the learning situation, they present an articulation tool to aid dialogue between key stakeholder perspectives in a (re)design process. Dialogue is a way to figure out relevant issues and to establish the common ground between participants. The goal of a redesign process is that user requirements are well understood, and the design is embedded into local practices, informed of constraints and aware of potential opportunities regarding educational technology.
