Human Papillomavirus Type 16 E7 Peptide-Directed CD8+ T Cells from Patients with Cervical Cancer Are Cross-Reactive with the Coronavirus NS2 Protein

ABSTRACTHuman papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16) E6 and E7 oncoproteins are required for cellular transformation and represent candidate targets for HPV-specific and major histocompatibility complex class I-restricted CD8+-T-cell responses in patients with cervical cancer. Recent evidence suggests that cross-reactivity represents the inherent nature of the T-cell repertoire. BACKGROUND: Infectious entry of human papillomaviruses into their host cells is an important step in the viral life cycle. For cell binding these viruses use proteoglycans as initial attachment sites. Subsequent transfer to a secondary receptor molecule seems to be involved in virus uptake. Depending on the papillomavirus subtype, it has been reported that entry occurs by clathrin- or caveolin-mediated mechanisms. Vairogdziedzera papillāro vēžu sastopamība "P.Stradiņa KUS" un klīnisko gadījumu analīze no 2010.-2015. gadam

Pēc onkoloģijas reģistra datiem, pierādījām, ka Latvijā ir papillāra vēža incidences pieaugums un analizējām kā tas ietekmē operācijas apjomu P. Stradiņa KUS atlasītajiem 250 pacientiem no 2010.–2015. gadam. Mēs noteicām faktorus, kas varētu ietekmēt operācijas apjomu. Statistiski ticami operācijas apjomu ietekmē audzēja izmērs (p=0.031) un FNA papillāram un mikropapillāram vēzim, bet tikai gadījumos, kad veikta totāla tiroīdekotmija (p=0.02). Pierādījām, ka 50% audzēja izmērs ir 1.1–4 cm un totāla tiroīdektomija dominē visās audzēja izmēra grupās. Mikropapillāram vēzim totāla tiroīdektomija visbiežāk tika veikta šūnu atipijas dēļ, bet papillāram - malignas citoloģijas atbildes dēļ. Vecums …

First report on the helminthfauna of the yellow-necked mouse, Apodemus flavicollis, in the Iberian Peninsula

Summary Information about the prevalence of helminth parasites of the yellow-necked mouse, Apodemus flavicollis, in the Iberian Peninsula is almost non-existent and there is no reliable data reported from Spain. Fourteen A. flavicollis from the Erro River valley (Navarre, Spain) were examined for endoparasites, between February 2001 and July 2002. Thirteen specimens (92.9 %) of the total sample were parasitized by at least one of the following six helminth species: one trematode (Corrigia vitta), one cestode (Taenia parva larvae) and four nematodes (Trichuris muris, Calodium hepaticum, Heligmosomoides polygyrus and Syphacia stroma). Kognitīvas slodzes ietekme uz gaismas stimula izraisītu zīlīšu refleksu

Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā, datorsalikumā uz 45 lappusēm. Darbs satur 26 attēlus, 7 tabulām un 45 atsaucēm uz izmantoto literatūru. Šajā darbā “Kognitīvas slodzes ietekme uz gaismas stimula izraisītu zīlīšu refleksu” autore apskata dažādu intensitāšu kognitīvo slodžu ietekmi uz zila un balta, konstanta vai sinusoidāla stimula izraisītu zīlīšu refleksu. Tika secināts, ka, palielinoties kognitīvas slodzes intensitātei, zīlītes diametrs sašaurinās. Kognitīvā slodze rada ietekmi uz zīlīšu refleksa parametriem – izmeklēto personu grupas vidējie rādītāji neuzrāda viennozīmīgu ietekmi.
