Context: the observations of the proplyds in the Orion Nebula Cluster, showing clear evidence of ongoing photoevaporation, have provided a clear proof about the role of the externally induced photoevaporation in the evolution of circumstellar disks. NGC 6611 is an open cluster suitable to study disk photoevaporation, thanks to its large population of massive members and of stars with disk. In a previous work, we obtained evidence of the influence of the strong UV field generated by the massive cluster members on the evolution of disks around low-mass Pre-Main Sequence members. Blind source separation techniques are used to reanalyse two exoplanetary transit lightcurves of the exoplanet HD189733b recorded with the IR camera IRAC on board the Spitzer Space Telescope at 3.6$\mu$m during the "cold" era. These observations, together with observations at other IR wavelengths, are crucial to characterise the atmosphere of the planet HD189733b. Previous analyses of the same datasets reported discrepant results, hence the necessity of the reanalyses. HST/WFC3 Confirmation of the Inside-out Growth of Massive Galaxies at 0 < z < 2 and Identification of Their Star-forming Progenitors at z ~ 3

We study the structural evolution of massive galaxies by linking progenitors and descendants at a constant cumulative number density of n_c=1.4x10^{-4} Mpc^{-3} to z~3. Structural parameters were measured by fitting Sersic profiles to high resolution CANDELS HST WFC3 J_{125} and H_{160} imaging in the UKIDSS-UDS at 1<z<3 and ACS I_{814} imaging in COSMOS at 0.25<z<1. At a given redshift, we selected the HST band that most closely samples a common rest-frame wavelength so as to minimize systematics from color gradients in galaxies. It is still debated whether star formation process depends on environment. In particular it is yet unclear whether star formation in the outer Galaxy, where the environmental conditions are, theoretically, less conducive, occurs in the same way as in the inner Galaxy. We investigate the population of NGC1893, a young cluster ~3-4 Myr in the outer part of the Galaxy (galactic radius >11 Kpc), to explore the effects of environmental conditions on star forming regions. This paper reports the results of a study on the determination of the protonation constants of MoO42 −, in NaClaq, NaNO3aq, KClaq, at different ionic strengths (0 < I/mol dm− 3 ≤ 5.0 in NaClaq, 0 < I/mol dm− 3 ≤ 3.0 in NaNO3aq and KClaq) and temperatures (278.15 ≤ T/K ≤ 318.15 in NaClaq, only 298.15 K in NaNO3aq and KClaq), by potentiometric (ISE-H+ glass electrode) and spectrophotometric (UV/Vis) titrations. Hydrolysis of (CH3)Hg+ in Different Ionic Media: Salt Effects and Complex Formation

The hydrolysis of monomethylmercury(II) was studied potentiometrically, in NaNO3, Na2SO4, and NaCl aqueous solution, in a wide range of ionic strengths (NaNO3, 0 ≤ I ≤ 3.25; Na2SO4, 0 ≤ I ≤ 1; NaCl, 0 ≤ I ≤ 3 mol dm-3) and at t = 25 °C. For the reaction (CH3)Hg+ = (CH3)Hg(OH)° + H+, we found log K1 = −4.528 (I = 0 mol dm-3). The species [(CH3)Hg]2(OH)+ was also found, with log β2 = −2.15. Monomethylmercury(II) forms quite strong complexes with Cl- (log K = 5.45, I = 0 mol dm-3) and SO42- (log K = 2.64, I = 0 mol dm-3). Abstract In this paper SIT and Pitzer models are used for the first time to describe the interactions of natural and synthetic polyelectrolytes in natural waters. Measurements were made potentiometrically at 25 °C in single electrolyte media, such as Et 4 NI and NaCl (for fulvic acid 0.1 − 1 S single salt ” BA, with cation B and anion A representing all the major cations (Na + , K + , Mg 2+ , Ca 2+ ) and anions (Cl − , SO 4 2− ) in natural sea water, respectively.
