The validation of algorithms developed from in situ reflectance to estimate water quality variables has the challenge of atmospheric correction (AC) when applied to satellite images. Estimating water quality variables from satellite images requires an accurate estimation of remote sensing reflectances (Rrs) which vary according to the AC applied. The essays deals with the centrality increasingly assumend by the thems of training (the reproduction of active living working capacity) in the last Alquati, as well as the impoverishment of subjectivities that, according to this author, would occur with the digitation of many educational processes.

An integrated review of existing geological and geophysical data – partly acquired during oil and gas exploration – combined with new data provided by deep geothermal studies of selected key areas, was used for the 3D modeling and mapping of the top of the geothermal reservoir developed at a regional scale in Sicily (Central Mediterranean). The resulting 1:500,000 scale map covers the area of the whole Sicily (about 25,700 km2) and is devoted to represent the main input for both the thermal modeling and the evaluation of geothermal potential at a regional scale. I denna artikel studerar jag hur uttal presenteras i finska gymnasieläroböcker (n=10) i svenska som andra språk. Syftet är att undersöka vilka uttalsdrag som tas upp i läroböckerna och relationen mellan dessa drag och begriplighet. Metoden som jag använder är kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Prosodiska drag har ansetts ha en stor betydelse för begriplighet. Vad det gäller svenska är speciellt satsrytm viktig. Analysen visar dock att uppmärksamheten oftast fästs vid enskilda segment (språkljud) och ord. Stress sensitivity of stylolite morphology

International audience; Stylolites are rough surfaces that form by localized stress-induced dissolution. Using a set of limestone rock samples collected at different depths from a vertical section in Cirque de Navacelles (France), we study the influence of the lithostatic stress on the stylolites morphology on the basis of a recent morphogenesis model. We measured the roughness of a series of bedding-parallel stylolites and show that their morphology exhibits a scaling invariance with two self-affine scaling regimes separated by a crossover-length (L) at the millimeter scale consistent with previous studies. Predicted gamma-ray image of SN 1006 due to inverse Compton emission

We propose a method to synthesize the inverse Compton (IC) gamma-ray image of a supernova remnant starting from the radio (or hard X-ray) map and using results of the spatially resolved X-ray spectral analysis. The method is successfully applied to SN 1006. We found that synthesized IC gamma-ray images of SN 1006 show morphology in nice agreement with that reported by the H.E.S.S. collaboration. The good correlation found between the observed very-high energy gamma-ray and X-ray/radio appearance can be considered as an evidence that the gamma-ray emission of SN 1006 observed by H.E.S.S. is leptonic in origin, though the hadronic origin may not be excluded.
Investigating the Structure of Vela X

Vela X is the prototypical example of a pulsar wind nebula whose morphology and detailed structure have been affected by the interaction with the reverse shock of its host supernova remnant. The resulting complex of filamentary structure and mixed-in ejecta embedded in a nebula that is offset from the pulsar provides the best example we have of this middle-age state that characterizes a significant fraction of composite SNRs, and perhaps all of the large-diameter PWNe seen as TeV sources. Here we report on an XMM-Newton Large Project study of Vela X, supplemented by additional Chandra observations.
