The present study has investigated how fear-of-death activation affected consumer food product choices. Undergraduate students (N = 130; Mage = 22.7; Meage = 21) differing on the conscious fear of death level participated in this study. The participants were divided into two experimental and one control groups. In first experimental group fear of death was induced by asking the participants to read an euthanasia story, in second experimental group by asking them to picture their own death. El presente estudio revisa la eficacia de las diversas intervenciones no farmacologicas sobre los sintomas cognitivos, conductuales y emocionales de la demencia. Los resultados muestran que diversas intervenciones dirigidas a los pacientes –estimulacion cognitiva, reminiscencia, validacion, estimulacion multisensorial, actividades recreativas, presencia simulada, higiene centrada en la persona y musicoterapia– tienen efectos en una o mas de las areas evaluadas. Otros objetivos eran descubrir asociaciones significativas entre subgrupos de la muestra. La muestra se capto principalmente por internet. Los datos recogidos son: sociodemograficos; el cuestionario de personalidad MCMI y la evaluacion de unos dilemas eticos con respuestas dicotomicas y con una explicacion descriptiva. El golpe de estado de Primo de Rivera en septiembre de 1923 supuso una importante división del ejército en la provincia de Valencia. Gran parte de los mandos castrenses provinciales y regionales apoyaron el pronunciamiento, pero acabaron enfrentados al capitán general de la región militar. Tras esta tensión inicial el dictador consiguió crear una red de oficiales afines que dirigieron las principales instituciones militares en Valencia. La disciplina y jerarquía del Ejército español se transmitía así a la administración valenciana mediante tácticas clientelistas.

This article uses Michel Foucault’s understanding of police and liberalism to discuss the governance of diversity and differences, and how they appear as a regulatory form of power in urban cultural policy. The data consists of interviews conducted with policymakers in Helsinki and Sydney. The article asserts that the policing of cultural spaces of encounter at the city level is not limited to the regulatory practices and controls that produce a sense of safety and order for citizens in the city. Earthquakes are phenomena that are still being learned by the scientific community, and poorly known, especially as regards the prevention, by the population. Having a more complete knowledge is a basic step in understanding the vastness and intensity of the destructive phenomenon that involves a great amount of people.
