Outlying location of logistics activities : the example of the Burgundy in France

International audience; This paper contributes to the understanding of spatial location of logistics activities in an outlying region. A quantitative analysis in Burgundy (French region) underlines the important polarization of warehousing developed in a limited area during 1980–1990s intensified during 2000s. The companies that locate their warehouses in Burgundy have different strategies that could explain this outlying location. For example, the low cost of land, favorable terms of tax system and the presence of a labour pool with an important unemployed rate incentive could incentive some companies to locate their warehouses in an outlying region like the Burgundy.
Rosenbluth separation of the $\pi^0$ Electroproduction Cross Section off the Neutron

We report the first longitudinal/transverse separation of the deeply virtual exclusive $\pi^0$ electroproduction cross section off the neutron and coherent deuteron. The corresponding four structure functions $d\sigma_L/dt$, $d\sigma_T/dt$, $d\sigma_{LT}/dt$ and $d\sigma_{TT}/dt$ are extracted as a function of the momentum transfer to the recoil system at $Q^2$=1.75 GeV$^2$ and $x_B$=0.36. The $ed \to ed\pi^0$ cross sections are found compatible with the small values expected from theoretical models. Probing the Extremes of Covalency in M-Al bonds: Lithium and Zinc Aluminyl Compounds.

Synthetic routes to lithium, magnesium, and zinc aluminyl complexes are reported, allowing for the first structural characterization of an unsupported lithium-aluminium bond. Crystallographic and quantum-chemical studies are consistent with the presence of a highly polar Li-Al interaction, characterized by a low bond order and relatively little charge transfer from Al to Li. Comparison with magnesium and zinc aluminyl systems reveals changes to both the M-Al bond and the (NON)Al fragment (where NON=4,5-bis(2,6-diisopropylanilido)-2,7-di-tert-butyl-9,9-dimethylxanthene), consistent with a more covalent character, with the latter complex being shown to react with CO<sub>2</sub> vi…

Magnetoelectric effects in superconductor/ferromagnet bilayers

We demonstrate that the hybrid structures consisting of a superconducting layer with an adjacent spin-textured ferromagnet demonstrate the variety of equilibrium magnetoelectric effects originating from coupling between the conduction electron spin and superconducting current. By deriving and solving the generalized Usadel equation which takes into account the spin-filtering effect we find that a supercurrent generates spin polarization in the superconducting film which is non-coplanar with the local ferromagnetic moment. Attentional bias towards interpersonal aggression in depression – an eye movement study

Depressed individuals exhibit an attentional bias towards mood-congruent stimuli, yet evidence for biased processing of threat-related information in human interaction remains scarce. Here, we tested whether an attentional bias towards interpersonally aggressive pictures over interpersonally neutral pictures could be observed to a greater extent in depressed participants than in control participants. Eye movements were recorded while the participants freely viewed visually matched interpersonally aggressive and neutral pictures, which were presented in pairs. Artikkeli on kokonaisuudessaan ensimmäinen laatuaan Suomessa ja se esittelee tutkimuksen tuloksia koskien Akseli Gallen-Kallelan käyttämiä väriaineita. Tutkimusaineisto on läpileikkaus taiteilijan taiteellisesta tuotannosta vuosilta 1880–1929. Se koostuu 265:stä maalauksesta ja 83:sta öljy- ja temperavärituubista. Tutkimuksessa käytetyt analyysimentelmät ovat ainetta tuhoamattomia luonnontieteellisiä analyysimenetelmiä: energiadispersiivinen röntgenfluoresenssi spektroskopia (EDXRF) ja polarisaatiomikroskopia (PLM).
