The Eurosceptic turnabout which has taken place in the CEE constitutes one of the most significant factors weakening the cohesion of the EU. In this group, Poland is the key element in view of its size and the status of the ‘poster boy’ of Europeanization acquired in the previous years. This paper analyses the major trends in the European policy of the Polish governments in the long-term period of 1990–2018 on the basis of standardized data (addresses by the Polish ministers of foreign affairs) and a quantitative analysis. Abstract For each 0 α 1 we consider a natural n-dimensional extension of the classical notion of absolute continuous function. We compare it with the Malý's and Hencl's definitions. It follows that each α-absolute continuous function is continuous, weak differentiable with gradient in L n , differentiable almost everywhere and satisfies the formula on change of variables.

The article discusses didactic approaches to teaching grammar that have been developed in Polish language didactics since the end of the 18thcentury: grammatical-normative, system--grammatical and functional. Subsequent approaches are presented in the historical order, but the considerations focus on their main theoretical assumptions, areas of criticism of previous approaches and methodological solutions developed on these foundations. The approach adopted has been defined as the overriding principle of understanding the learning process.

This is a reassessment of the work of Tadeusz Rittner, a bilingual Polish/German writer and dramatist from Galicia who won much acclaim in the early decades of the last century. This article examines his narrative and dramatic strategies by focusing on his drama Lato (Summer), published in 1913. It is a story about a timid young man who, after hearing from his doctor that he will not live much longer, turns suddenly into a bold and shameless seducer. Realizm socjalistyczny, zwany prościej socrealizmem, to doktryna ideologiczno- estetyczna wspomagająca propagandę krajów komunistycznych. The article addresses the so-called principle of speciality referred to in Article 607e of the Criminal Procedures Code in connection with Article 27 of the Council Framework Decision of 13 June 2002 no. 2002/584/JHA on the European arrest warrant and the surrender procedures between Member States, and the exception to that rule specified in Article 607e § 3, item 2 CPC and Article 27(3)(a) of the EAW Decision. The article presents the position of “the Castle” on emigration (the President, government and the Council of the Republic of Poland) towards the events in Poland and the Eastern Bloc in 1956. The politicians and publicists of “the Castle”, observing some changes in the country, did not expect that they would lead to basic changes.
