Przekonania o sobie i świecie nieletnich przebywających w placówkach resocjalizacyjnych

Celem przeprowadzonych badań było rozpoznanie adaptacyjnych i dezadaptacyjnych przekonań ułatwiających lub utrudniających funkcjonowanie młodzieży w życiu społecznym. Badania przeprowadzono wśród 146 wychowanków placówek resocjalizacyjnych i 134 uczniów szkół gimnazjalnych oraz ponadgimnazjalnych (grupa porównawcza). Influence of voluntary work intervention on the mood status of older volunteers

The aim of this study was to investigate the positive and depressive mood changes in older volunteers after a three-month voluntary work intervention through a one-group experimental research design. The participants were drawn from the Volunteering, access to Outdoor activities and Wellbeing in older people (VOW) project. SUMMARY Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is an inflammatory systemic disease affecting the spine, sacroiliacal and peripheral joints. Although the aetiology of AS remains unknown, the strong association with the HLA-B27 allele might reflect directly a detrimental effect of the HLA-B27 molecule itself, resulting from its potential capability to present ‘arthritogenic’ peptides to CD8+ T cells. Advances in biotechnology and information technology are poised to transform well-being research. This article reviews the technologies that we predict will have the most impact on both measurement and intervention in the field of positive psychology over the next decade. These technologies include: psychopharmacology, non-invasive brain stimulation, virtual reality environments, and big-data methods for large-scale multivariate analysis. Some particularly relevant potential costs and benefits to individual and collective well-being are considered for each technology as well as ethical considerations.
