Optimal control and applications to orbital transfer and almost-riemannian geometry

In this thesis we focus on optimal control techniques as well as geometric control techniques applied to the orbital transfer problem and to almost-Riemannian geometry. In these cases, Pontryagin’s Maximum Principle allows to analyse the extremal flow of affine control systems.In the case of a satellite with low-thrust propulsion, averaging techniques give an approximated system. Averaging is explicit in the energy minimization case and is directly related to almost-riemannian problems. The geometric analysis of such problems is generalized by the study of metrics on the two-sphere of revolution. HHT-alpha and predictor-corrector scheme for dynamic contact problem by Nitsche's method

Dans ce travail nous sommes intéressés par le problème de contact unilatéral en dynamique et sans frottement. Nous nous concentrons sur l'évolution en temps de l'impact d'un corps élastique linéaire sur un obstacle rigide, et avons souhaité en particulier étudier comment combiner des schémas en temps comme HHT et prédicteur-correcteur avec un traitement du contact via Nitsche, ce qui n'a jamais été effectué auparavant. Nous présenterons aussi quelques résultats numériques en faisant attention au comportement numérique : stabilité du schéma, conservation ou non de l'énergie et oscillations parasites. Embeddings of Danielewski hypersurfaces

In this thesis, we study a class of hypersurfaces in $\mathbb{C}^3$, called \emph{Danielewski hypersurfaces}. This means hypersurfaces $X_{Q,n}$ defined by an equation of the form $x^ny=Q(x,z)$ with $n\in\mathbb{N}_{\geq1}$ and $\deg_z(Q(x,z))\geq2$. We give their complete classification, up to isomorphism, and up to equivalence via an automorphism of $\mathbb{C}^3$. In order to do that, we introduce the notion of standard form and show that every Danielewski hypersurface is isomorphic (by an algorithmic procedure) to a Danielewski hypersurface in standard form. The aim of this work is to study multiobjective optimization problems with or without dynamics and the generalized Bolza problem and its applications. After having pointed out some concepts of nonsmooth analysis, we begin the first part of this thesis with the existence of Lagrange multipliers for multiobjective optimization problems in infinite dimension with a general preference. We introduce the regularity of preference and use calmness qualification condition we establish the existence of Karush-Kuhn-Tucker multipliers.
