Purpose Within the framework of learning from errors, this study focused on how operative risks and potential errors are addressed in guidance to surgical residents during authentic surgical operations. The purpose of this paper is to improve patient safety and to diminish medical complications resulting from possible operating errors. Heading at Enabling Settings for Learning

The paper draws on two cases of learning settings that were converted to meet up-to-date educational requirements within these learning contexts. The authors address the role of stakeholder perspectives. Focusing on the learning situation, they present an articulation tool to aid dialogue between key stakeholder perspectives in a (re)design process. Dialogue is a way to figure out relevant issues and to establish the common ground between participants. The goal of a redesign process is that user requirements are well understood, and the design is embedded into local practices, informed of constraints and aware of potential opportunities regarding educational technology.

One of the central landmarks of learning to read is the emergence of orthographic processing (i.e., the encoding of letter identity and letter order): it constitutes the necessary link between the low-level stages of visual processing and the higher-level processing of words. Regarding the processing of letter position, many experiments have shown worse performance in various tasks for the transposed-letter pair judge-JUDGE than for the orthographic control jupte-JUDGE. Studies on emotions in learning are often based on interviews conducted after the learning. These do not capture the multi-componential nature of emotions, nor how emotions are related to the processes of learning. We see emotions as dimensional, multi-componential responses to personally meaningful events and situations. Pētījuma mērķis ir pārbaudīt un izpētīt, kādas ir saistības starp ēšanas uzvedību, vadības funkcijām un lemšanas procesu. Papildu mērķis ir noteikt, vai pastāv ēšanas uzvedības, vadības funkciju un lemšanas procesa atšķirības cilvēkiem ar aptaukošanos, paaugstinātu, pazeminātu vai normas robežām atbilstošu ķermeņa masas indeksu. Pētījuma gala izlase sastāv no 184 respondentiem (27 vīrieši un 159 sievietes) vecumā no 19 līdz 60 gadiem. Dati tika ievākti tiešsaistē.
