L’institut d’étude et de prévention des maladies professionnelles de la CGT (1937-1939)

From 1936 onwards, the CGT does its transition from a vanguard trade-union to a mass trade-unionism. As a consequence of the Spring 1936 massive strikes, the CGT appeal a lot of new adherents and then become a real representative organisation. Jointly with the government social policy, CGT develops a trade unionism of services. One of these organisations is the Institute of professional diseases prevention who become a new achievement of French trade union strategy for health and workers protection.

Our contribution is inserted into an approach of Dialogic teaching methodology and participatory understanding of evaluation practices from a perspective of inclusive culture that regards the process of teaching and learning from the reflection in action. This creates learning environments where the role of the teacher favours autonomy, creativity and confidence, adapting to the different contexts and rhythm of learning of students. The objectives of the project were achieved in designing evaluation tools and involving students in its evaluation process promoting honest, responsible and tolerant attitudes. International audience; La formation des adultes est principalement structurée selon une approche curriculaire et séquentielle ayant montré son efficacité, et qui suppose notamment i) la didactisation préalable d'objets d'apprentissage, ii) l'identification des situations susceptibles de favoriser l'acquisition de ces objets et iii) la répétition et la graduation de ces situations.
