The Garantie jeunes : an analysis of the direct and indirect effects on its beneficiaries. Taking into account the non-academic skills of young people

The evaluation of the Garantie jeunes has resulted in three main reports (Farvaque et al., 2016 ; Loison-Leruste et al., 2016 ; Gaini et al., 2018). In this thesis, we seek to find out whether this scheme has an effect on the professional and social insertion of its beneficiaries, which transits through the acquisition of non-academic skills. Using a mixed survey method, we are interested in both the young people and the recruiters likely to hire them. Une formation pédagogique peut-elle modifier les conceptions de jeunes enseignants universitaires sur l’apprentissage et l’enseignement ?

Nous analysons l’évolution des conceptions de l’apprentissage et de l’enseignement de jeunes enseignants universitaires à l’issue d’une formation en pédagogie universitaire, grâce à des informations de formations collectées lors de sessions de formation de l’Université de Bourgogne. Nous montrons que les conceptions à l’entrée et à la sortie de formation apparaissent variées et que celles-ci sont liées aux disciplines, à l’expérience et au projet professionnel. Les participants considèrent avoir changé de conceptions au terme de la formation. Ceux qui ont des visions nuancées et centrées d’emblée sur l’apprenant sont toutefois davantage influencés par la formation pédagogique.

El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar las propiedades psicométricas del Cuestionario para la Evaluación del Síndrome de Quemarse por el Trabajo (CESQT) en una muestra de profesionales de la salud italianos. La muestra estuvo formada por 695 participantes (453 profesionales de enfermería y 242 médicos). Según el género se identificaron 451 mujeres (64.9%) y 244 hombres (35.1%). El CESQT está formado por 20 ítems que se distribuyen en cuatro dimensiones: Ilusión por el trabajo (5 ítems), Desgaste psíquico (4 ítems), Indolencia (6 ítems), y Culpa (5 ítems). ‘Human rights and democracy are not self-evident’ : Finnish student teachers’ perceptions on democracy and human rights education

This article discusses democracy and human rights education (DHRE) in Finnish teacher education, drawing on existing literature, curricula and a survey of student teachers’ perceptions. Earlier studies suggested that DHRE in Finnish teacher education is unsystematic, implicit, and dependent on the teacher’s individual interests. These studies highlight a sense of national exceptionalism, where DHRE is assumed to be self-evident. In 2019, we conducted a survey of student teachers (n=300) in one university.
