To adapt all-immersive digitalization, the Finnish National Curriculum 2014 (FNC-2014) ‘digi-jumps’ by integrating programming into elementary education. However, applying the change to mathematics teachers’ everyday praxis is hindered by a too high-level specification. To elaborate FNC-2014 into more concrete learning targets, we review the computer science syllabi of countries that are well ahead, as well as the education recommendations set by computer science organizations, such as ACM and IEEE. Abstract Background CUIDA-TE is an APP that offers transdiagnostic cognitive behavioral therapy focused on enhancing emotion regulation. As a novelty, it incorporates ecological momentary interventions (EMI), which can provide psychological support in real time, when suffering arises. The Contribution of Emotional Intelligence on the Components of Burnout : The Case of Health Care Sector Professionals

The purpose of this study is to investigate the contribution of emotional intelligence on three components of burnout (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishment) in health care professionals. Data were collected from a sample of 136 health care professionals (78 men, 58 women). The findings imply that the more emotionally intelligent health care professionals were, the less likely they were to experience emotional exhaustion and depersonalization whereas more likely they were to experience personal accomplishment. <p>L’indagine si riferisce agli incidenti occupazionali a rischio infettivo, occorsi tra il gennaio 1998 ed il dicembre 2002 negli operatori sanitari del Policlinico Universitario “Paolo Giaccone” di Palermo. Su una popolazione sanitaria di 2700 unità, sono stati denunciati negli anni considerati 742 incidenti a rischio infettivo occupazionale, con una frequenza del fenomeno infortunistico ad andamento decrescente negli anni considerati, da 173 del 1998 a 126 del 2002, con una più elevata prevalenza nel sesso femminile( 71.8%). Organic farming is increasing its share of total world food output and receiving grow-ing support from policymakers concerned with agricultural sustainability issues. This paper studies the characteristics of citrus farmers in the Spanish region of Valencia that affect their probability of becoming organic farmers.
