Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan sosiaalityöntekijöiden näkemyksiä aikuissosiaalityöntekijän työn sisällöstä sekä sosiaalityön koulutuksen ja profession merkityksestä työnkuvan kehittämisessä aikuissosiaalityössä toteutetussa tehtävärakenneuudistuksessa, jossa kehitettiin sosiaalityönte-kijöiden, sosiaaliohjaajien ja etuuskäsittelijöiden tiimimuotoista työtapaa. Professional expertise, integrative thinking, wisdom, and phronēsis

This chapter examines adult thinking from the perspective of professional expertise and phronēsis, that is, practical wisdom. It first describes differences between experts and novices, and presents three conceptualisations of the development of expertise. This is followed by an analysis of the form of adult thinking referred to as integrative thinking, and phronēsis. The relationship of these two with expertise is examined. The analysis shows that professional expertise requires holistic thinking involving the ability to integrate or conciliate various and even conflicting perspectives in order to find new solutions to problems. This chapter provides an evaluative summary of the major contributions from the first section of this book, comprising conceptualisations on professional agency and work-related learning. The evaluation focuses on the differences, similarities, and strengths of the approaches and conceptualisations touched on. The focus is, first of all, on how the core meanings of agency and the agentic perspective are understood. Secondly, the approaches are addressed according to their view of how the contextual aspects of working life relate to agency. This paper presents a case study of an intensive international course aimed at pre-service teachers and having a focus on inclusion. The course was funded by Nordplus. Twenty-three students from six Baltic and Nordic countries were interviewed during and after the course on their views on professionalism and their future work as teachers. The results show that the students’ understanding of professionalism was multifaceted, and they had gained several experiences of professionalism during the course. I 2020 trådte det nye læreplanverket, Kunnskapsløftet 2020, i kraft i norsk skole. I artikkelen har vi valgt samfunnsfaget i ungdomsskolen som eksempelstudium. Vi presenterer en detaljert, empirinær analyse av forholdet mellom kompetansemål, kjerneelementer og tverrfaglige tema i læreplanstrukturen for skolefag, samt forholdet mellom disse og overordnet del. Eksempelet er avgrenset til samfunnsfaget på ungdomsskolen, og basert på det forskriftsfestede planverket og den digitale støttemodulen. Funnene i denne delen av analysen gir praktisk kunnskap om læreplanene som er helt sentral for lærerutdannere og lærere, og som har overføringsverdi (og relevans) for fagdidaktikk for andre skolefag.
