PROPAGATING INTERFACES IN A TWO-LAYER BISTABLE NEURAL NETWORK

The dynamics of propagating interfaces in a bistable neural network is investigated. We consider the network composed of two coupled 1D lattices and assume that they interact in a local spatial point (pin contact). The network unit is modeled by the FitzHugh–Nagumo-like system in a bistable oscillator mode. The interfaces describe the transition of the network units from the rest (unexcited) state to the excited state where each unit exhibits periodic sequences of excitation pulses or action potentials. La actividad utiliza la crisis económica como pretexto para que los estudiantes puedan expresar queja y hartazgo de forma avanzada. Además, la actividad final es que los estudiantes sepan hacer propuestas para mejorar la situación actual en España y en sus respectivos países. Mediante vídeos, fotografías, titulares de periódico e incluso poemas los aprendientes conocerán las causas de la crisis económica así como la forma que tienen los españoles de afrontar la crisis. Familiarizaremos al estudiante con la situación real en la que se encuentran millones de españoles y les proporcionaremos las herramientas necesarias para que puedan moverse en esta situación actual.

The purpose of this article is to approach the didactic treatment of biodiversity conservation issues from the double perspective of scientific literacy and environmental education. We attempt to provide ideas on how articulating their respective theoretical speeches with practice in biological education; understanding the need to fit principles and goals that characterize them, with the processes of teaching and learning concepts, values, processes and techniques; significantly necessary to develop of citizenship, critical interpretation and based decision-making capacities, related to the political proposals and measures on biodiversity conservation.

We discuss and introduce to the schedulingeld a novel, qualitative optimization model - scheduling under the network of temporo-spatial proximity relationships.We introduce a half perimeter proximity measure as an objective of scheduling.We present and evaluate an incremental Sequence Pair neighborhood evaluation algorithm, applicable to both scheduling and rectangle packing problems in VLSI industry.
