Tarkastelen artikkelissa Suomalaisen Kirjallisuuden Seuran (SKS) arkiston suhdetta kouluihin: sitä, missä rooleissa opettajat ja oppilaat ovat toimineet perinteen ja nykykulttuurin tallentamisessa 1800-luvulta tähän päivään ja millaisia tavoitteita SKS:llä on eri aikoina ollut koulujen kanssa tehdylle yhteistyölle. SKS perustettiin vuonna 1831 edistämään suomen kielen ja suomenkielisen kirjallisuuden asemaa. Kansanperinteen keruu ja tallentaminen kuuluivat seuran toimintaan alusta lähtien. En eucariotas, la transcripción de los genes que codifican proteínas la lleva a cabo la RNA polimerasa II (RNA pol II), junto con una gran cantidad de factores auxiliares que participan en el proceso actuando a diferentes niveles. International audience; The authors show that spatial dependence and spatial heterogeneity matter in the estimation of the ß-convergence process among 138 European regions over the 1980 to 1995 period. Using spatial econometrics tools, the authors detect both spatial dependence and spatial heterogeneity in the form of structural instability across spatial convergence clubs. The estimation of the appropriate spatial regimes spatial error model shows that the convergence process is different across regimes. Four ruthenium complexes of clinically used zinc ionophore pyrithione and its oxygen analog 2-hydroxypyridine N-oxide were prepared and evaluated as inhibitors of enzymes of the aldo–keto reductase subfamily 1C (AKR1C). A kinetic study assisted with docking simulations showed a mixed type of inhibition consisting of a fast reversible and a slow irreversible step in the case of both organometallic compounds 1A and 1B. Both compounds also showed a remarkable selectivity towards AKR1C1 and AKR1C3 which are targets for breast cancer drug design. Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) is a special disease entity of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The clinical use of all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) has transformed APL into the most curable form of AML. The majority of APL cases are characterized by the fusion gene PML-RARA. Although the PML-RARA fusion gene can be detected in almost all APL cases, translocation variants of APL have been reported. To date, this is the most comprehensive review of these translocations, discussing 15 different variants.
