Visualizing protein data remains a challenging and stimulating task. Useful and intuitive visualization tools may help advance biomolecular and medical research; unintuitive tools may bar important breakthroughs. Background: This study aimed to explore how students in a physiotherapy bachelor program acquire awareness of their own movement quality and form conceptions of movement quality. Methods: The study was designed as an elective course, implementing Basic Body Awareness Therapy principles. The participants were six PT students. SUMMARYParametric approaches have been used widely to model animal growth and study the impact of growth profile on performance. Individual variation is often not considered in such approaches. However, non-parametric modelling allows this. Such an approach, based on spline functions, was used to study the importance of growth profiles from age 0 to 15 months (i.e. insemination) on milk yield and composition in primiparous cows. A dataset of 447 heifers was used for analysis of growth performance; 296 of them were also used to study impact on lactation. Molecular characterisation of k-casein gene in Girgentana dairy goat breed and identification of two new alleles

The k-casein fraction plays an important role in the formation, stabilisation and aggregation on casein micelles and thus affects technological and nutritional properties of milk. In this study, exon 4 of k-casein (CSN3) gene was sequenced and analysed in Girgentana goat breed. Analyses of the obtained sequences showed the presence of A, B, D, and G known alleles and two new genetic variants, named D’ and N. The new D’ allele differs from D in one transition, G284→A284, which did not cause amino acid change. Destination engagement on Facebook: Time and seasonality

Abstract This paper studies the influence of time frames (posting day and posting time) and seasonality (low, medium and high) on positive/negative engagement in a Destination Management Organization (DMO) on Facebook. A content analysis was carried out on 639 posts, 178,913 audience reactions to such posts and 5330 comments. These posts were shared 45,194 times by the audience. The data analysis (regression analyses with optimal scaling) suggests that the best times to post are at 8  am , 10  am , 2  pm and 5  pm ; Thursday and Saturday are the best days to post, and the period before summer (from January to June) are the best months.
