El presente trabajo analiza los tres dramas de la honra conyugal de Calderón de la Barca (a saber, El médico de su honra, A secreto agravio secreta venganza y El pintor de su deshonra) desde los postulados del antropólogo cultural Réné Girard. Las principales teorías de este autor difícilmente clasificable versan sobre el deseo y la violencia pero nacen y han sido aplicadas, básicamente, en el ámbito de los textos literarios canónicos. Challenges of Interdisciplinary University Programs of Studies: The Case of English in Public Communication

The aim of this study is to track students’ self-assessed successes and failures after taking courses in English in Public Communication (EPC) at the University of Opole. This interdisciplinary BA program combines philological, sociological and public communication courses. Using the data from 204 surveys, the study compares the calculated mean scores for the achievement of “new knowledge,” “new skills” and “new social competences” within two groups of subjects: core curriculum courses and practical English courses as declared by the first- and second-year students of EPC. Diplomdarbā aprakstītā pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt programmas veidošanas teorētiskos nosacījumus interešu izglītībā, izstrādāt interešu izglītības programmu sākumskolas skolēniem (7-9 gadi) “Programmēšana iesācējiem”, aprobēt un izvērtēt tās efektivitāti. Pētījumā tika izmantotas pētniecības metodes: kvantitatīvās (novērojums un aptaujas), kvalitatīvā (ekspertu novērtējums). Nodarbību novērojuma protokolus aprobācijas laikā aizpildīja darba autore. Simulation of Fatigue Delamination Growth in Composites with Different Mode Mixtures

A numerical model, obtained by implementing a cyclic damage model in the framework of an interface element, is here proposed to reproduce the crack growth in laminated composites subjected to cyclically repeated loads. This model, which differs from the few studies in the literature on the topic, applies not only to single fracture modes but also to mixed modes, and to constant or variable crack growth rates. The applied load (in terms of force or displacement) is assumed to oscillate between a minimum and a maximum constant value. Self-assembly mechanism based on charge density topological interaction energies

The packing interactions have been evaluated in the context of the self-assembly mechanism of crystal growth and also for its impacts on the aromaticity of the trimesate anion. The structure of ethylammonium trimesate hydrate (1) measured at 100 K and a charge density model, derived in part from theoretical structures, is reported. Theoretical structure factors were obtained from the geometry-optimized periodic wave function. The trimesic acid portion of 1 is fully deprotonated and participates in a variety hydrogen bonding motifs.
