Flow-bed interactions analysis and application of automatic close range digital photogrammetric survey in a laboratory flume

This paper reports on a laboratory study in which the automatic digital photogrammetric survey was applied to derive the high-resolution Digital Surface Model (DSM) of the bed topography, used for the flow-bed interactions analysis, in a large amplitude meandering laboratory flume. The analysis has been conducted with the aid of detailed data of three-dimensional flow field previously collected using the acoustic Doppler velocity profiler DOP2000. The applied surveying procedure has allowed the evaluation of the DSM with a resolution of ±0.5 mm. Maģistra darba mērķis bija apkopot līdz šim zināmo informāciju par laimes izjūtas konstruktu un realizēt eksperimentālu pētījumu, lai noskaidrotu, vai pēc dalības 4 nedēļu ilgā pētījumā būs vērojamas statistiski nozīmīgas izmaiņas laimes izjūtas rādītājos starp eksperimentālo un abām kontroles grupām, kā arī starp pirmo un otro mērījumu katras grupas ietvaros. Pētījumā piedalījās 158 sākumskolas skolēni (eksperimentālā grupa n = 53; kontroles grupa nr. 1 n = 55; kontroles grupa nr. 2 n = 50) vecumā no 7 – 10 gadiem. In this study we propose a probabilistic approach for coupled distributed hydrological-hillslope stability models that accounts for soil parameters uncertainty at basin scale. The geotechnical and soil retention curve parameters are treated as random variables across the basin and theoretical probability distributions of the Factor of Safety (FS) are estimated. This work focuses on the study of the meanings conveyed by two visual perception verbs (mirar and veure) in Central Catalan within the theoretical framework of cognitive semantics.
