YAlO3 svārstību spektroskopija

Pētījuma gaitā tiek apskatīts optoelektronikā daudz pielietojams perovskitveida kristāls – YAlO3 (YAP). Tam tiek modelēta kristāliskā režģa dinamika, izmantojot pirmo principu (ab initio) un klasiskās molekulārdinamikas aprēķinus programmā CRYSTAL un GULP. Iegūtas fononu dispersijas un stāvokļu blīvumu līknes, eksperimentāli ģenerēti Ramana un infrasarkanie spektri. Ar rentgenstaru difrakciju noteikti YAP kristāla režģa parametri, tie salīdzināti ar DFT un klasisko aprēķinu optimizēto struktūru. Kieliopilla on keskeinen asema englantia vieraana kielenä opiskeltaessa ja rakenteiden tuntemus on osa vieraiden kielten opetussuunnitelmaa. Menetelmät, joilla kielioppia opetetaan, ovat laajalti opettajien itse päätettävissä ja opetusmenetelmien kirjo on valtava. Opetus voi olla hyvinkin opettajakeskeistä ja tyyliltään luennoivaa tai puolestaan hyvin toiminnallista ja oppilaslähtöistä sekä kaikkea tältä väliltä. Tämä tutkielma toteutettiin kuvailevana tapaustutkimuksena, johon osallistui yksi englantia vieraana kielenä opettava alakoulun opettaja sekä hänen oppitunnillaan olleet 14 oppilasta. Continuity in individual differences from socioemotional behavior in middle childhood to personality characteristics in middle adulthood was examined on the assumption that they share certain temperament-related elements. Socioemotional characteristics were measured using teacher ratings at ages 8 (N = 369; 53% males) and 14 (95% of the initial sample). Personality was assessed at age 42 (63% of the initial sample; 50% males) using a shortened version of the NEO Personality Inventory (NEO-PI); the Karolinska Scales of Personality (KSP); and the Adult Temperament Questionnaire (ATQ). On the high-pressure phase stability and elastic properties ofβ-titanium alloys

We have studied the compressibility and stability of different β-titanium alloys at high pressure, including binary Ti–Mo, Ti–24Nb–4Zr–8Sn (Ti2448) and Ti–36Nb–2Ta–0.3O (gum metal). We observed stability of the β phase in these alloys to 40 GPa, well into the ω phase region in the P–T diagram of pure titanium. Gum metal was pressurised above 70 GPa and forms a phase with a crystal structure similar to the η phase of pure Ti. The bulk moduli determined for the different alloys range from 97 ± 3 GPa (Ti2448) to 124 ± 6 GPa (Ti–16.8Mo–0.13O).
