Performances Recovery of Flax Fiber Reinforced Composites after Salt-Fog Aging Test

In the present paper, the performance recovery under conditions of discontinuous exposure to a marine environment of a natural fiber-reinforced composite (NFRC) reinforced by flax fibers was assessed. In particular, this laminate was initially exposed to salt-fog for 15 and 30 days, and then stored in a controlled air condition for up to 21 days. The flax fiber-reinforced composite showed coupled reversible and irreversible aging phenomena during the wet stage, as well as evidencing a significant mechanical recovery during the dry stage. THE INTERACTION OF TEMPORAL-ASPECTUAL FEATURES IN MODAL POLYSEMY: A CASE-STUDY FROM SICILIAN. We intend to analyse a number of Sicilian constructions involving the modal vuliri “want” and the modal periphrasis aviri a “have to+ infinitive”. They are used to express both modal values and futurity (Sicilian, but not Italian, lacks a synthetic future). Our analysis is largely based on Cognitive Grammar, according to which modality is a strategy of grounding, involving different kinds of subjectification (Langacker 1991; Traugott 1989), variously grammaticalised in languages. The previous attempts to present Tadeusz Miciński’s The Polish Thermopylae on the stage ended in either a complete failure or at least unfulfilled expectations. The multi-dimensional textcharade, full of numerous historical and philosophical references, constitutes a true challenge for an audience and a director. The ideological potential of the text encourages risky updates and simplifications. L'aglio coltura "antica" e tipica di molte aree della Sicilia, ha svolto e continua a svolgere un ruolo fondamentale nella storia della tradizione culinaria. La specie viene, inoltre, utilizzata per usi terapeutici e presenta pregevoli caratteristiche nutrizionali. L'ampia disponibilità di popolazioni locali di aglio ha indotto, il Consorzio di ricerca Co.Ri.S.S.I.A. di Palermo ad avviare una ricerca finalizzata alla caratterizzazione e valorizzazione di accessioni di aglio di diversa provenienza. Dall'esperienza condotta è emerso che la specie ha presentato, in generale, una buona adattabilità all'ambiente di prova, riuscendo a fornire produzioni quanti-qualitative soddisfacenti.

Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) have raised a lot of interest, especially as adsorbing materials, because of their unique and well‐defined pore structures. One of the main challenges in the utilization of MOFs is their crystalline and powdery nature, which makes their use inconvenient in practice. Three‐dimensional printing has been suggested as a potential solution to overcome this problem. We used selective laser sintering (SLS) to print highly porous flow‐through filters containing the MOF copper(II) benzene‐1,3,5‐tricarboxylate (HKUST‐1).
