L’analogia i el paral·lelisme en l’estil proverbial de Ramon Llull

Ramon Llull és autor d’un extens i excepcional corpus de proverbis, distribuït en cinc reculls que va escriure principalment entre 1295 i 1302. En aquest article, després de contextualitzar les col·leccions en el marc de la trajectòria intel·lectual de Llull, de presentar els seus trets més remarcables i de repassar breument alguns aspectes de la teoria paremiològica sobre els marcadors proverbials, s’analitza l’ús d’un conjunt de procediments retòrics en la formulació dels enunciats, en especial la personificació i el paral·lelisme, el qual es posa en relació amb les funcions i les aplicacions pràctiques que Llull mateix preveu per als seus proverbis.

La presente tesis doctoral aborda la consideración del auto calderoniano "El Maestrazgo del Tusón" (1659) en su doble vertiente de texto literario y texto espectacular, facetas inseparables en el análisis de todo texto dramático. El trabajo se ha estructurado en dos partes, de acuerdo con los objetivos perseguidos. En primera instancia, el propósito ha sido el de ofrecer –siguiendo los principios de la crítica textual moderna– una edición crítica fiable de uno de los autos que Pedro Calderón de la Barca (1600-1681) compuso en su época de plenitud dramática: "El Maestrazgo del Tusón", una pieza que, hasta la fecha, carecía de una fijación textual definitiva. Thermodynamically driven self-assembly of pyridinearene to hexameric capsules

Pyridinearene macrocycles have previously shown unique host–guest properties in their capsular dimers including endo complexation of neutral molecules and exo complexation of anions. Here, we demonstrate for the first time the formation of hydrogen bonded hexamer of tetraisobutyl-octahydroxypyridinearene in all three states of matter – gas phase, solution and solid-state. Cationic tris(bipyridine)ruthenium(II) template was found to stabilize the hexamer in gas phase, whereas solvent molecules do this in condensed phases. In solution, the capsular hexamer was found to be the thermodynamically favoured self-assembly product and transition from dimer to hexamer occurred in course of time. The …

A number of quantitative studies of pair programming (the practice of two programmers working together using just one computer) have partially conflicting results. Qualitative studies are needed to explain what is really going on. We support such studies by taking a grounded theory (GT) approach for deriving a coding scheme for the objective conceptual description of specific pair programming sessions independent of a particular research goal.
