Measuring readiness for entrepreneurship: An information tool proposal

Abstract A profound review of the literature on entrepreneurship reveals that it does not exist a specific information tool to measure the individuals’ readiness for entrepreneurship. The purpose of this research has been building such kind of instrument to estimate the individuals’ readiness for entrepreneurship. Its design takes in consideration the inclusion of the main variables identified by the literature as those most associated with entrepreneurial profiles. Inhumaciones en el ámbito rural romano: en la "villa rustica" de Catarroja, Valencia (campaña 2007-2008)

Estudiamos seis enterramientos de inhumación, hallados en el transcurso de la campaña de investigación arqueológica 2007-2008, realizada en la villa rustica romana de Catarroja, Valencia. Cronológicamente han de situarse en época bajoimperial tardía, aunque, por lo menos uno, más temprano, no es contemporáneo de los restantes. Todos corresponden a personas de baja extracción social, siendo cuatro niños. (A)

La necrópolis occidental de la Valencia romana

Ubicada en una pequeña elevación del terreno y junto a uno de los principales ejes viarios de la ciudad (calle Cavallers/Quart), prolongación del decumanus maximus, se localiza la necrópolis occidental de Valentia. Cronológicamente abarca desde mediados del siglo I a.C. hasta el siglo III-IV d.C. Hay que destacar que la práctica de la inhumación es anterior a la incineración y casi exclusiva, en contra de la tendencia predominante. Este hecho lo hemos puesto en relación con la raíz centro-itálica de los fundadores de Valentia y el mantenimiento de sus tradiciones de origen.

[Abstract] Background: The footwear assessment tool was designed to advise an appropriate footwear for each situation and patient. Footwear alterations structures can influence in musculoskeletal disorders, developing foot ulcers, increase the peak plantar pressure, bacterial growth, low back pain. Methods: To validate the study 101 subjects were recruited. Background: The improvement of fruit aroma is currently one of the most sought-after objectives in peach breeding programs. To better characterize and assess the genetic potential for increasing aroma quality by breeding, a quantity trait locus (QTL) analysis approach was carried out in an F-1 population segregating largely for fruit traits. Results: Linkage maps were constructed using the IPSC peach 9 K Infinium (R) II array, rendering dense genetic maps, except in the case of certain chromosomes, probably due to identity-by-descent of those chromosomes in the parental genotypes.
