Diplomdarbā pētāmā problēma: 4. klases skolēniem grūtības sagādā jaunrades darba prezentēšana. Prezentēšanas prasme skolēniem nav iepriekš attīstīta, taču “Skola 2030” plānotajos sasniedzamajos rezultātos norādīts, ka skolēnam ir jāprot pastāstīt par darba procesu, izaicinājumiem un idejas rašanos. Diplomdarba mērķis bija izpētīt prezentēšanas prasmju nozīmi 4.klašu skolēniem un izstrādāt ieteikumus, kurus izmantojot iespējams attīstīt prezentēšanas prasmi. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tika apkopota literatūra par prezentēšanas prasmi un veiksmīgu publisko runu. Tika pētīta arī pašvērtēšanas veikšanas saistība ar prezentēšanas kvalitāti. La ricerca «Telemaco» è stata svolta per promuovere una partecipazione attiva e responsabile degli studenti universitari alla didattica universitaria. A tal fine, si è ritenuto opportuno preparare tale partecipazione mediante l’applicazione di due metodi d’intervento con cui migliorare il loro senso di autoefficacia, la loro capacità di gestire l’ansia da prestazione e l’immagine del loro «sé» attuale: la scrittura espressiva e il tutoraggio tra pari. I risultati dimostrano l’efficacia di questi due metodi sulle tre competenze prese in esame. A Low-Cost Smartphone Sensor-Based UV Camera for Volcanic SO2 Emission Measurements

Recently, we reported on the development of low-cost ultraviolet (UV) cameras, based on the modification of sensors designed for the smartphone market. These units are built around modified Raspberry Pi cameras (PiCams; ≈USD 25), and usable system sensitivity was demonstrated in the UVA and UVB spectral regions, of relevance to a number of application areas. Here, we report on the first deployment of PiCam devices in one such field: UV remote sensing of sulphur dioxide emissions from volcanoes; such data provide important insights into magmatic processes and are applied in hazard assessments. Spatially resolved SO2 flux emissions from Mt Etna

Abstract We report on a systematic record of SO2 flux emissions from individual vents of Etna volcano (Sicily), which we obtained using a permanent UV camera network. Observations were carried out in summer 2014, a period encompassing two eruptive episodes of the New South East Crater (NSEC) and a fissure‐fed eruption in the upper Valle del Bove. We demonstrate that our vent‐resolved SO2 flux time series allow capturing shifts in activity from one vent to another and contribute to our understanding of Etna's shallow plumbing system structure. Ultraviolet imaging of volcanic plumes: A new paradigm in volcanology

Ultraviolet imaging has been applied in volcanology over the last ten years or so. This provides considerably higher temporal and spatial resolution volcanic gas emission rate data than available previously, enabling the volcanology community to investigate a range of far faster plume degassing processes than achievable hitherto. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoitus on kuvata nuorten maahanmuuttajamiesten kokemuksia jalkapallon pelaamisen vaikutuksista heidän Suomeen kotoutumisessa. Tarkoituksena oli selvittää, minkälaista vuorovaikutusta maahanmuuttajilla oli suomalaisten kanssa jalkapalloa pelatessa. Tarkoituksena oli myös tuoda ilmi maahanmuuttajien kokemuksia mahdollisesta rasismin kohtaamisesta jalkapallon parissa. Näiden lisäksi halusin tutkia, mitä jalkapallo on opettanut maahanmuuttajille suomalaisesta kulttuurista. Tutkimukseen osallistui kolme nuorena Suomeen tullutta maahanmuuttajamiestä, jotka olivat pelanneet muuttonsa jälkeen Suomessa jalkapalloa. Tutkimusaineistoni keräsin teemahaastattelujen avulla.
