Bakalaura darba tēma ir Nacionālo bruņoto spēku karavīru izpratne par pēdu veselību un profilaksi. Pētījuma mērķis noskaidrot karavīru izpratni par pēdu veselību un profilaksi. Pētījuma uzdevumi analizēt pieejamos literatūras avotus, izstrādāt aptaujas anketu, veikt anketēšanu un apkopoto datu analīzi. Darbā izmantota Kalistas Rojas māszinību teorija. Pētījumam izvirzīta hipotēze: karavīriem ar ilgāku dienesta pieredzi ir labāka izpratne par pēdu veselību un profilaksi salīdzinājumā ar jauniesauktajiem karavīriem, jo teorija nav nostiprināta praksē. This research i) examined the influence of a brief nutrition-based intervention among primary care patients in changing nutrition and clinical values related to metabolic syndrome (study 1), and ii) assessed nutrition and the prevalence of metabolic syndrome and its clinical determinants among primary care patients in different sociodemographic groups (study 2). The aim of this study was to investigate whether periodising carbohydrate intake around specific training sessions will enhance endurance training adaptations. Seventeen healthy recreationally endurance-trained males (n = 5) and females (n = 12) (27.5 ± 5.4 years) participated in a four-week training intervention. Halloysite Nanotubes Coated by Chitosan for the Controlled Release of Khellin

In this work, we have developed a novel strategy to prepare hybrid nanostructures with controlled release properties towards khellin by exploiting the electrostatic interactions between chitosan and halloysite nanotubes (HNT). Firstly, khellin was loaded into the HNT lumen by the vacuum-assisted procedure. The drug confinement within the halloysite cavity has been proved by water contact angle experiments on the HNT/khellin tablets. The article employs the theme of a literary walk (Watson 2009), a practice of encountering places with literary associations on foot. Urban areas present especially suitable settings for such themed walks, as cities can have multiple literary connections, and literary places are located within a short distance from one another.
