Od wielu lat ekstrakty roślinne, w tym olejki eteryczne wykorzystywane były nie tylko ze względu na ich walory zapachowe, ale także lecznicze. Mogą być one pozyskiwane z różnych części roślin, co wpływa na skład jakościowy pozyskanego olejku i wydajność wyjściowego materiału. Pelargonia pachnąca (Pelargonium graveolens) jest aromatycznym krzewem posiadającym jasnozielone, owłosione, miękkie w dotyku, karbowane liście i małe, różowe kwiaty. Należy do rodzaju Pelargonium (Geraniaceae) i liczy ponad 250 gatunków. Olejek eteryczny pozyskiwany z pelargonii jest bardzo ceniony nie tylko przez przemysł perfumeryjny czy aromaterapię, ale także przez przemysł spożywczy, kosmetyczny jak i farmację. International audience; We present a complete, exact and efficient implementation to compute the edge-adjacency graph of an arrangement of quadrics, i.e. surfaces of algebraic degree 2. This is a major step towards the computation of the full 3D arrangement. We enhanced an implementation for an exact parameterization of the intersection curves of two quadrics, such that we can compute the exact parameter value for intersection points and from that the edge-adjacency graph of the arrangement. Seeing Gravity: Gait Adaptations to Visual and Physical Inclines – A Virtual Reality Study

Using advanced virtual reality technology, we demonstrate that exposure to virtual inclinations visually simulating inclined walking induces gait modulations in a manner consistent with expected gravitational forces (i.e., acting upon a free body), suggesting vision-based perception of gravity. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai izdegšana ir saistīta personības iezīmēm profesionālā dienesta karavīriem un zemessargiem. Kā arī- kuras no šīm militārpersonas grupām ir tendēti izdegt visvairāk. Pētijumā piedalījās divas respondentu grupas- profesionālā dienesta karavīri( n=31) un zemessargi (n=31). Respondenti bija 11 sievietes un 51 vīrietis vecuma grupā no 20 līdz 56 gadu vecumam un šo respondentu grupu vidējais vecums bija 35,6 gadi. Paths from socioemotional behavior in middle childhood to personality in middle adulthood.

Continuity in individual differences from socioemotional behavior in middle childhood to personality characteristics in middle adulthood was examined on the assumption that they share certain temperament-related elements. Socioemotional characteristics were measured using teacher ratings at ages 8 (N = 369; 53% males) and 14 (95% of the initial sample). Personality was assessed at age 42 (63% of the initial sample; 50% males) using a shortened version of the NEO Personality Inventory (NEO-PI); the Karolinska Scales of Personality (KSP); and the Adult Temperament Questionnaire (ATQ).
