Ueda of the first example of a chaotic attractor in numerical simulation of a real physical process, a new scientific direction of analysis of chaotic behavior in dynamical systems arose. The operation of naval vessels involves watchkeeping 24 h per day, which is globally carried out by a variety of different watch systems. In this study, the rotating 4:4 and fixed 4:4/6:6 two-section watch systems were compared in terms of sleepiness, fatigue, and stress responses. The data collection took place on a Finnish Defence Forces' (FDF) Navy missile patrol boat with 15 crew members serving as study participants. The data collection periods lasted two separate weeks (7 days, 6 nights) with the different watch systems. Niewydolność serca występuje u około 2% dorosłej populacji w Europie. U jednej na pięć osób w wieku 40 lat podczas dalszego życia dojdzie do rozwoju niewydolności serca. Dolegliwość ta dotyka 20 000 osób w województwie opolskim. Zaostrzenie niewydolności serca, w różnych postaciach, jest drugą, po ostrych zespołach wieńcowych, przyczyną pilnych przyjęć do Kliniki Kardiologii Uniwersyteckiego Szpitala Klinicznego w Opolu. W opracowaniu przedstawiono prognozę hospitalizacji pacjentów z niewydolnością serca na lata 2015−-2050 uwzględniającą procesy depopulacji zachodzące w województwie opolskim. Cormorant predation mortality of perch (Perca fluviatilis) in coastal and archipelago areas, northern Baltic Sea

Abstract Perch (Perca fluviatilis) is an important prey species of the great cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo sinensis) in the coastal waters of the northern Baltic Sea. The annual predation mortality caused by cormorants was estimated based on the consumed numbers of perch in relation to the abundance of perch in vulnerable age groups in the sea. El trabajo presenta unas tablas que recientemente han aparecido en el mercado artístico. Cuatro de ellas las atribuimos al anónimo Maestro de Portillo. Una quinta tabla, subastada en Italia, la adscribimos al Maestro de Calzada, que trabajó, sobre todo, en el ámbito vallisoletano. Estas personalidades artísticas continúan en el anonimato, seguramente por la escasa documentación conservada en el territorio donde ejercieron su profesión.
