Bakalaura darbā autore pēta fiziskās vardarbības noziedzīgos nodarījumus pret bērniem. Ņemot vērā, ka fiziskās vardarbības noziedzība Latvijā ir izplatīta, kā arī apstākļi, ka par šāda veida noziedzības upuriem bieži kļūst bērni, ir nepieciešams atrast veidus sabiedrībā pastāvošās fiziskās vardarbības mazināšanai un novēršanai. Skolēnu emocionālās vardarbības novēršanas iespējas sākumskolā

Marijas Sadovskas diplomdarba tēma ir „Skolēnu emocionālās vardarbības novēršanas iespējas sākumskolā”. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt emocionālās vardarbības būtību un esamību sākumskolās, tās rašanās cēloņus, veidus un apzināt emocionālās vardarbības sākumskolā novēršanas iespējas. Tika izvirzīta hipotēze, ka emocionālo vardarbību ir iespējams novērst. Darbā tiek apkopotas un analizētas pedagogu, psihologu atziņas par emocionālās vardarbības būtību. Empīriskā pētījuma veikšanai izmantotas divas pētījuma metodes: novērojums un pedagoģiskā izmēģinājumdarbība. Heavy ions at the Future Circular Collider

The Future Circular Collider (FCC) Study is aimed at assessing the physics potential and the technical feasibility of a new collider with centre-of-mass energies, in the hadron-hadron collision mode, seven times larger than the nominal LHC energies. Operating such machine with heavy ions is an option that is being considered in the accelerator design studies. It would provide, for example, Pb-Pb and p-Pb collisions at sqrt{s_NN} = 39 and 63 TeV, respectively, per nucleon-nucleon collision, with integrated luminosities above 30 nb^-1 per month for Pb-Pb. Tässä maisterintutkielmassa tutkin moraalisesti ambivalenttia sankaria nuorten fantasialle ominaisena sivuhenkilötyyppinä. Tutkimuskohteena on kolme nuorille aikuisille suunnattua, modernin fantasian lajiin kuuluvaa kirjasarjaa: Christopher Paolinin Perillinen (2003-2011), Cassandra Claren Varjojen kaupungit (2007-2014) ja Rick Riordanin Olympoksen sankarit (2010-2014). Introduction: Essential oils are the perspective source of natural antioxidants because some synthetic antioxidants are now suspected to be potentially harmful to human health. As free radicals can cause inflammatory diseases, cancer, atherosclerosis, and aging, antioxidants can inhibit oxidative chain reactions. Global workers have long contended with the challenges of working across geographical, temporal, and cultural boundaries enabled by communication technologies. However, the global work research has rarely intersected with the literature on work–home boundary management—which has been brought to the forefront due to the forced move to remote work during the Covid-19 pandemic.
