The paper presents a study carried out on the island of Pantelleria regarding the interaction among distributed energy resource and energy storage systems in renewable energy communities. EU, in the Clean Energy Package, defines the 'Jointly acting renewables self-consumers' (JARSCs) and the 'Renewable Energy Communities' (RECs) as innovative models to share energy from renewables facilities. Nevertheless, the behaviour of JARSCs and RECs is designed to maximize the final users' self-consumption without considering the impacts on the power grid operation. Il sincronismo tra le battaglie di Himera e Salamina è stato codificato dalla storiografia antica con l’intento di unificare la Grecità, metropolitana e occidentale, nella comune celebrazione della vittoria contro il barbaro: un nome che accomuna indistintamente Cartaginesi e Persiani. Le due vittorie vennero interpretate tout court come un trionfo della civiltà sulla barbarie. Space-Time Forecasting of Seismic Events in Chile

The aim of this work is to study the seismicity in Chile using the ETAS (epidemic type aftershock sequences) space‐time approach. The proposed ETAS model is estimated using a semi‐parametric technique taking into account the parametric and nonparametric components corresponding to the triggered and background seismicity, respectively. The model is then used to predict the temporal and spatial intensity of events for some areas of Chile where recent large earthquakes (with magnitude greater than 8.0 M) occurred.
