Tereny zieleni w mieście są istotnym zagadnieniem w kształtowaniu struktury funkcjonalno-przestrzennej miasta, a także kształtowania jego rozwoju w sposób zrównoważony. W literaturze przedmiotu zwraca się uwagę na konieczność dążenia do równowagi między celami społecznymi, ekologicznymi i ekonomicznymi, które powinny być definiowane w polityce rozwoju jednostek terytorialnych różnych szczebli, w tym także miast. Fracture and fatigue of titanium narrow dental implants: New trends in order to improve the mechanical response

Sixty-four fractured commercially pure titanium (cp-Ti) narrow dental implants (NDIs) with similar macrogeometry and connection designs were studied after different implantation times in humans in order to determine their reliability and to evaluate the causes of the fracture. These NDIs were compared with other similar implants, made with alloyed titanium with 15% Zr and with 12% strained titanium. Original implants were tested under static and fatigue conditions, simulating the tri-axial loads in the mouth by means of a Bionix hydraulic test machine. International audience; In the field of industrial vision, the three-dimensional inspection of highly reflective metallic objects is still a delicate task. We deal with a new automated three-dimensional inspection system based on polarization analysis. We first present an extension of the shape-from-polarization method for dielectric surfaces to metallic surfaces. Then, we describe what we believe to be a new way of solving the ambiguity concerning the normal orientation with an active lighting system. The essay, after an overview of the theories of the dream expressed in medical texts and philosophical reflection in the Greek world, analyzes the references to the dream present in the Galenic corpus, with specific reference to the presence of this motif in the context of polemics with exponents of other medical schools. Hence on one side it is possible find Galen taking up a typically Platonic metaphorical use of onar and oneirottein to indicate, pejoratively, confused thought not founded on logos. Polypropylene/polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane nanocomposites – study of free volumes, crystallinity degree and mass flow rate

Nanokompozyty polipropylen/poliedryczne oligomeryczne silseskwioksany (PP/POSS) przygotowano metodą mieszania w stanie stopionym polimeru. Wpływ struktury oraz ilości zastosowanych nanonapełniaczy POSS na objętości swobodne w polipropylenie określono z zastosowaniem spektroskopii czasów życia pozytonów (PALS). Ustalono zależności pomiędzy parametrami PALS: czasem życia o-Ps (τ3) i natężeniem (I3) składowej o-Ps oraz wartościami stopnia krystaliczności (Xc ) i masowego wskaźnika szybkości płynięcia (MFR) badanych materiałów. Obecność nanonapełniaczy POSS wpłynęła na liczbę i rozmiary objętości swobodnych w polimerze, co spowodowało zmianę mikrostruktury osnowy polipropylenowej. Wraz ze zwięk…
