W artykule podjęto próbę teologicznej oceny klasycznych modeli racjonalizacji cierpienia i zła. Należą do nich: harmonizacja i estetyzacja, ontologiczna depotencjacja, umoralizowanie oraz pedagogizacja zła. Autor dochodzi do wniosku, iż żaden z nich nie daje wystarczającej odpowiedzi na bolesne pytanie: Dlaczego Bóg dopuszcza zło? Niemniej jednak każdy z wymienionych modeli zawiera elementy, które z powodzeniem mogą być wykorzystane we współczesnym dyskursie teodycealnym. Work-related language learning trajectories of migrant cleaners in Finland

Cleaning is often the survival employment that migrants can get in their new home country. Ideally, the workplace can be a site for integration and language learning. This article explores how two migrants working as cleaners in Finland narrate their work-related Finnish language learning trajectories. The research is designed by applying nexus analysis (Scollon & Scollon, 2004), which focuses on social action in the intersection of interaction order, participants’ life experiences, and discourses in place. While many studies exist regarding the firm choice to make vs. buy, there has been little study about the choice between make, buy or ally. In this paper we investigate how firms choose among make, buy or make together when they have to organize a particular transaction. In particular we develop theory-based hypothesis that link the theoretical determinants of firm’s boundaries to the governance choice. In order to test such hypothesis we operationalize the main constructs in measurable variables and we collect information for that. Time-dependent quantum transport in nanosystems : a nonequilibrium Green's function approach

A time-dependent extension to the Landauer–Büttiker approach to study transient quantum transport in arbitrary junctions composed of leads and conducting devices is developed. The nonequilibrium Green’s function approach is employed for describing the charge and heat transport dynamics. The importance of the developed method is that it provides a closed formula for the time-dependent density matrix in both electronic and phononic systems.
