Three isostrucutral dodecanuclear clusters with the general formula [Ln(12)(fsa)(12)(mu f(3)-OH)(12)(DMF)(12)]center dot nDMF (fsa(2-) is the dianion of 3-formylsalicylic acid; Ln = Eu 1, Gd 2, Dy 3) have been obtained from the reaction of fromylsalicyclic acid (H(2)fsa), tetrabutylammonium hydroxide and Ln(NO3)(3)center dot 6H(2)O in methanol/DMF. Their structure consists of four vertex-sharing heterocubanes. Each heterocubane unit is assembled from four Ln(III) ions, three mu(3)-OH groups and one mu(3)-oxygen atom arising from the fsa(2-) carboxylato group. Resumen El objetivo del presente trabajo fue estudiar el efecto que tienen las motivaciones para consultar y escribir e-WOM sobre el compromiso con el e-WOM y la influencia de dicho compromiso en la adopción del e-WOM consultado. Para analizar estas relaciones, se realizó una investigación empírica aplicada en el contexto de los restaurantes. El ámbito geográfico fue Ecuador, con una muestra de 461 consumidores. En este trabajo me ocupo de la semántica de los términos de ficción, en el marco de una posición de tipo abstractista (KRIPKE 2011 y 2013, VAN INWAGEN 1977, SALMON 1998 y 2002, THOMASSON 1999, PREDELLI 1997, 2002 y 2005 y VOLTOLINI 2011). En particular, me concentro en dos problemas que afectan a este tipo de posiciones: el primero de ellos es dar cuenta de la verdad intuitiva de enunciados como "Ulises duerme en la playa de Ithaca"; el segundo es explicar la aceptación, también intuitiva, de que "Ulises no existe" es un enunciado verdadero. Efficient generation of restricted growth words

A length n restricted growth word is a word w=w"1w"2...w"n over the set of integers where w"1=0 and each w"i, i>1, lies between 0 and the value of a word statistics of the prefix w"1w"2...w"i"-"1 of w, plus one. Restricted growth words simultaneously generalize combinatorial objects as restricted growth functions, staircase words and ascent or binary sequences. Here we give a generic generating algorithm for restricted growth words. It produces a Gray code and runs in constant average time provided that the corresponding statistics has some local properties.
Optical properties of GaSe, characterization and simulation

Abstract The study focuses on structural and optical characterizations and properties of the GaSe lamellar material in one hand and on a numerical simulation of the photovoltaic properties of the ITO/GaSe heterojunction in a second hand. A few layers of GaSe were exfoliated from bulk GaSe on PET substrate. The optical transmission was recorded at room temperature. It shows that GaSe exhibits both indirect and direct band gaps of about 1.92 and 2.2 eV respectively. A value, as high as 104 cm−1, of the absorption coefficient was obtained. Recent experiments on the use of the PEA method for testing dielectric materials in specimens and comparison with a detailed model provide an insight of the phenomenon and suggest the need of adopting similar models also for cables. What is said is even more important considering the possible future adoption of the PEA methodology to test DC cables for Pre-Qualification and Type Tests. Intrinsic nanostructures on the (001) surface of strontium titanate at low temperatures

Atomically smooth (001) surfaces of SrTiO3 cut from the high-quality single crystals at two different miscut angles 0.9 and 7.0 deg between the real flat surfaces and crystallographic planes (001) were analyzed by means of the reflection high energy electron diffraction (RHEED) method from the room down to liquid helium temperatures. The diffraction patterns typical of the RHEED geometry close to ideal for a small miscut angle and those exhibiting distinct features of the specific periodicity associated with regular steps, which form due to the larger miscut angle, are presented. Antiferromagnetic NiO thickness dependent sign of the spin Hall magnetoresistance in γ-Fe 2 O 3 /NiO/Pt epitaxial stacks

We study the spin Hall magnetoresistance (SMR) in epitaxial γ–Fe2O3/NiO(001)/Pt stacks, as a function of temperature and thickness of the antiferromagnetic insulating NiO layer. Upon increasing the thickness of NiO from 0 nm to 10 nm, we detect a sign change of the SMR in the temperature range between 10 K and 280 K. This temperature dependence of the SMR in our stacks is different compared to that of previously studied yttrium iron garnet/NiO/Pt, as we do not find any peak or sign change as a function of temperature. We explain our data by a combination of spin current reflection from both the NiO/Pt and γ-Fe2O3/NiO interfaces and the thickness-dependent exchange coupling mode between the …
X-ray and dielectric characterization of Co doped tetragonal BaTiO3 ceramics

ABSTRACTThe crystal structure modifications of BaTiO3 induced by cobalt doping were studied. The polycrystalline (1 − x)BaTiO3 + xCo2O3 samples, with x ≤ 10 wt.%, were prepared by high temperature sintering conventional method. According to X-ray phase and structural characterization, performed by full-profile Rietveld refinement technique, all synthesized samples showed tetragonal symmetry perovskite structure with minor amount of parasitic phases. Pure single-phase composition has been detected only in the low level of doping BaTiO3. It was indicated that substitution of Co for the Ti sites in the (1 − x)BaTiO3 + xCo2O3 series led to decrease of tetragonality (c/a) of the BaTiO3 perovskit…
Enhancement of the dielectric response through Al-substitution in La1.6Sr0.4NiO4 nickelates

The structures and dielectric properties of La1.6Sr0.4Ni1−xAlxO4 (x = 0, 0.2 and 0.4) ceramics elaborated using the Pechini method were studied for the first time. The same unique tetragonal phase was found in all compounds. The lattice parameters were found using Rietveld refinement. The surface morphology characterization and elemental analysis of these samples were respectively carried out using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS).
