Hemispheric Differences in Functional Interactions Between the Dorsal Lateral Prefrontal Cortex and Ipsilateral Motor Cortex

Background: The dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) in both hemispheres have a central integrative function for motor control and behavior. Understanding the hemispheric difference between DLPFC and ipsilateral motor cortex connection in the resting-state will provide fundamental knowledge to explain the different roles DLPFC plays in motor behavior. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between anxiety (cognitive- and somatic anxiety and self-confidence) and mental toughness, and top-class referees’ subjective experience on pressure as a soccer official. 183 top-class referees answered an online questionnaire. Mental toughness was measured by using the SMTQ and anxiety by using the CSAI-2. The peer-review crisis is posing a risk to the scholarly peer-reviewed journal system. Journals have to ask many potential peer reviewers to obtain a minimum acceptable number of peers accepting reviewing a manuscript. Several solutions have been suggested to overcome this shortage. From reimbursing for the job, to eliminating pre-publication reviews, one cannot predict which is more dangerous for the future of scholarly publishing. W artykule zaprezentowana została biblioterapia jako metoda mająca zastosowanie w szerokim procesie edukacyjnym. Autorka stara się wykazać, że współczesna szkoła, będąca w przededniu reformy, powinna czerpać z dotychczasowych doświadczeń oraz osiągnięć neurodydaktyki. Opisane zostały sposoby wykorzystania biblioterapii jako metody rozwijającej wiedzę o świecie społecznym czytelnika. Ma ona również zastosowanie w rewalidacji jako metoda odpowiadająca na potrzeby rozwojowe dzieci i niepełnosprawnej młodzieży. Idea metody BIPOLAR polega na tym, że warianty decyzyjne nie są porównywane bezpośrednio ze sobą a z zestawami rozwiązań wskazanych jako referencyjne. Takie porównanie umożliwia sprawdzenie czy istnieją przesłanki do uznania danego wariantu za mający przewagę nad każdym z pozostałych. Zbiór rozwiązań nazywa się zbiorem punktów referencyjnych, który zawiera rozwiązania dobre i złe. Metoda BIPOLAR uwzględnia wszystkie etapy procesu decyzyjnego: wybór kryteriów oraz określenie ich wag, modelowanie preferencji decydentów, wybór właściwego wariantu decyzyjnego na podstawie rankingu.
