Reflecting through the designing: a brief analysis of the teacher’s planning process

The aim of this work is to study the conditions in which teachers plan and execute educational actions in the classroom and to find out which difficulties they encountered during the development of the planned teaching action. The “concrete operations” that 15 teachers in the Palermo area had accomplished, were highlighted before, during and after every structured activity to promote the pupils’ oral expression. Specifically, the research, which is collocated in the case study, had the function of verifying forty descriptors. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli tarkastella refleksiivisen modernin tuottamia elämänmuutostilanteita biografisen oppimisen mahdollisuuksina. Lähestymistavan perustana oli ajatus modernin laaja-alaisesta murroksesta refleksiiviseksi, notkeaksi tai toiseksi moderniksi, mikä yksilön tasolla näkyi myös oppimiseen liittyvänä muutoksena. Yhteiskunnan rakenteiden ja instituutioiden tasolla murros tuotti yksilölle rajuja elämänmuutoksia, epävarmuutta ja ennakoimattomuutta, jotka pakottivat yksilön sopeutumaan jatkuvaan muutokseen. This doctoral dissertation investigates PR professionalism and PR as a strategic expert function. The approach is phenomenographic and the research progresses through four phases: (1) building a conceptual framework, (2) conducting an interpretative study of concepts, (3) conducting semi-structured in-depth interviews among 37 Finnish PR experts, and (4) constructing a holistic model of PR professionalism. The interpretative study of concepts concludes that PR professionalism consists of expertise in management of identity, management of public sphere, and management of relationships, and its core values are respect, responsibility and reflexivity. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin refleksiivisyyden kehittymisen prosessia parisuhdeväkivallan hoitoon tarkoitetussa pariterapiassa. Refleksiivisyys on kognitiivis-konstruktiivisen teorian käsite, jolla viitataan yksilön kykyyn tiedostaa ja säädellä omaa ajatteluaan ja käyttäytymistään. Tutkimuksessa pyrittiin selvittämään, muuttuuko yksilöiden väkivaltaongelman käsittely refleksiivisemmäksi pariterapian aikana sekä onko kehitys samanlaista parin molemmilla osapuolilla. Tutkimus oli osa Pariterapia parisuhdeväkivallan ehkäisemisen keinona -projektia. Refleksija pusaudžu uzvedības problēmu risināšanā

Pašlaik vispārizglītojošajās skolās Latvijā ir vērojama refleksijas lomas palielināšanās mācību darbībā, kas ir saistīts ar Valsts izglītības satura centra (VISC) īstenotā projekta “Kompetenču pieeja mācību saturā” ieviešanu Latvijas izglītības iestādēs. Līdz šim maz pētīta refleksijas loma audzināšanas darbībā, piemēram, risinot dažādas uzvedības problēmas izglītības iestādē. Šajā pētījumā aktualizēta refleksijas loma un izpētītas refleksijas pedagoģiskās iespējas darbā ar skolēniem pusaudžu vecumposmā; iegūts empīrisks pamatojums refleksijas izmantošanai skolās, risinot dažādas uzvedības problēmas; definēta refleksijas struktūra latviešu valodā, izmantojot Ignāciskās pedagoģijas pieeju.
