Los pactos matrimoniales es un tema de actualidad en nuestra sociedad. En este trabajo se ha pretendido abordar el tema de la validez y eficacia de los pactos matrimoniales y como encajan en nuestro ordenamiento jurídico. Por una parte tenemos que tener en cuenta la autonomía de la voluntad de las partes, pero se debe conjugar con el derecho de ius cogens y con los derechos inalienables tan presentes tradicionalmente en el derecho de familia. Promotions and Earnings – Gender or Merit? Evidence from Longitudinal Personnel Data

This study examines the determinants of promotions, performance evaluations and earnings using unique longitudinal data from the personnel records of a large university. The study focuses on the role of gender in remuneration using, first, information on the complexity ratings of job tasks to define promotions on job ladders and, second, information on objective individual productivity. The study finds that individual research productivity was an important determinant of promotions and earnings. The focus of this dissertation is on the effects of specific employer characteristics on wages and wage rigidity and how these characteristics enter the wage-setting process. The dissertation includes an introductory chapter and five separate essays. The introduction provides motivation, background on the main keywords and an overview of the thesis. Chapters two and three study how internal references affect wages and wage rigidity from a theoretical perspective. The subject of the analysis of this article are the word combinations which in their composition include a component in the form o f the name of selected professions and those which occur in available German dictionaries. The aim of the article is to reconstruct the linguistic image established in them and to compare whether the analysed phraseologies and proverbs are also used in the contemporary language and whether the former linguistic image of the analysed professions has perhaps changed.
Structural Parameters under Partial Least Squares and Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling : A Comment on Yuan and Deng (2021)

In their article, Yuan and Deng argue that a structural parameter under partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) is zero if and only if the same structural parameter is zero under covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM). Yuan and Deng then conclude that statistical tests on individual structural parameters assessing the null hypothesis of no effect can achieve the same purpose in CB-SEM and PLS-SEM. Monotone generalized nonlinear contractions and fixed point theorems in ordered metric spaces

The purpose of this paper is to present some fixed point theorems for T -weakly isotone increasing mappings which satisfy a generalized nonlinear contractive condition in complete ordered metric spaces. As application, we establish an existence theorem for a solution of some integral equations.
