Ground instability in the old town of Agrigento (Italy) depicted by on-site investigations and Persistent Scatterers data

We combine on-site investigations with the interpretation of satellite Persistent Scatterers (PS) to analyse ground instability in the historic town of Agrigento, Italy. Geological and geomorphologic surveys, together with geostructural and kinematic analyses, depict the deformational patterns of the northwestern sector of the town, previously documented by extensive literature available for the neighbouring Valley of the Temples. The geological and geomorphologic maps are reconstructed by combining bibliographic studies, field surveys and aerial stereo-interpretation. Plant roots and bacteria are capable of buffering erratic fluctuations of water content in their local soil environment by releasing a diverse, highly polymeric blend of substances (e.g. extracellular polymeric substances [EPS] and mucilage). Although this concept is well accepted, the physical mechanisms by which EPS and mucilage interact with the soil matrix and determine the soil water dynamics remain unclear. High-resolution X-ray computed tomography revealed that upon drying in porous media, mucilage (from maize [Zea mays L.] roots) and EPS (from intact biocrusts) form filaments and two-dimensional interconnected structures spanning across multiple pores. This article aims to study the independent Valencian drama (1968-1978) especially the activity of the groups who work with the Catalan language. In the first part there is a review of the development of this movement, centered above all on the relationship that these groups had with the Valencian drama tradition. The second part reviews the most remarkable dramatists and groups of the period: Josep Lluís Sirera, Rodolf Sirera, Manuel Molins and the Group 49, Pluja Teatre and Juli Leal and Carnestoltes.

It casts light upon one of the factors proving most difficult to analyze, despite its importance for the description of Aragonese corn pare d to other neighbouring Romance varieties. The author reviews the various pre-Rom an linguistic substrata in North Aragon and the traces they left in the pronunciation, morphology and, more specifically, on lexis and toponymy.

Rivalorizzando la lezione originaria di Gell. 20.10.7 tramandata nel manoscritto fiorentino delle Notti Attiche, secondo cui il manum conserere delle XII Tavole comportava un "omnibus verbis vindicare", si contrappone la vindicatio bilaterale e contenziosa della legis actio sacramenti in rem alle vindicationes unilaterali di altre legis actiones non contenziose. Inoltre, alla luce di una rilettura delle testimonianze di Gaio e Cicerone si distingue fra il manum conserere e l'ex iure manum consertum vocare della procedura avente per oggetto la rivendica di beni immobili.
