The huge wealth of properties that we have built in many years in our cities and peripheries, convinced that it was capable of generating value, today is largely degraded, underused or disused but it represents a stock of heritage that could be fundamental to feed a dynamic and flexible view of legacy capable to influence our design culture. The challenge presented is how to shift the development asset from real estate capitalization to a knowledge economy where disused assets are offered as common stocks and enabling platforms for collective actions.

Koncepcja resilience nie jest jednorodna i w artykule zaprezentowano różnorodne podejścia badawcze do tego zjawiska. Najogólniej resilience oznacza proces pozytywnej adaptacji dzieci i młodzieży narażonych na duże ryzyko, przeciwności losu lub zdarzenia traumatyczne. Koncepcja resilien ce akcentuje znaczenie czynników ryzyka i mechanizmów chroniących przed nimi w wieku rozwojowym. Może stanowić podstawę do opracowania programów profilaktyki niedostosowania społecznego oraz w pracy resocjalizacyjnej z dziećmi i młodzieżą wykazującymi zaburzenia zachowania.
Challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and design responses in public space: Towards strategies for resilient post-Covid cities

The Covid-19 pandemic triggered governments and designers to revalue and redesign public spaces. This paper focuses on the various design responses to Covid-19 proposed and implemented in public spaces. In particular, we identify the kinds of challenges that such design responses address and the strategies that they use. We selected 56 design examples, largely collected from internet sources. By analyzing the design examples we identified five Covid-related challenges that were addressed in public space: sustaining amenities, keeping a distance, feeling connected, staying mentally healthy, and expanding health infrastructures. There is huge scientific interest in the neuropeptide oxytocin (OXT) due to its putative capacity to modulate a wide spectrum of physiological and cognitive processes including motivation, learning, emotion, and the stress response. The present review seeks to increase the understanding of the role of OXT in an individual’s vulnerability or resilience with regard to developing a substance use disorder. It places specific attention on the role of social stress as a risk factor of addiction, and explores the hypothesis that OXT constitutes a homeostatic response to stress that buffers against its negative impact. Mūsdienu vēsture nākotnē būs uzskatāma par ļoti interesantu un sarežģītu periodu - COVID-19 pandēmija, karš Ukrainā. Visas šīs lietas var ietekmēt cilvēka dzīvesspēku, un tikai tuvākie cilvēki var palīdzēt tikt galā ar grūtajiem laikiem. Šī pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot piesaistes romantiskās attiecībās saistību ar dzīvesspēka līmeni vīriešiem un sievietēm un konstatēt vai ir atšķirības piesaistes dimensijās trauksme un izvairīšanās, dzīvesspēka līmenī un tā apakšskalu vērtības sievietēm un vīriešiem. Bakalaura darba pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot kāda saistība pastāv starp bērnības piesaistes attiecību un dzīvesspēka raksturojošiem faktoriem jauniešu vecumā. Pētījuma jautājums ir kādas saistības pastāv starp bērnības piesaistes attiecību un dzīvesspēku raksturojošiem faktoriem jauniešu vecumā. Pētījumā piedalījās 53 dalībnieki, no tiem 45 sievietes un 8 vīrieši, vecumā no 18 līdz 25 gadiem, kuriem bērnības piesaistes attiecības tika pētītas, izmantojot Vecāku un vienaudžu piesaistes aptauju (The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment, Armsden & Greenberg, 1987.
