This work presents preliminary results of an investigation aiming at characterization of nanocomposite insulating materials. Focus is made on size and technological process effects, i.e. dependence of electrical properties on filler size, on polymer-nanofiller interaction (e.g. intercalation or exfoliation) and, in particular, on chemical purification procedures. Este trabajo documenta la metáfora de la Iglesia como "arca" desde la edad patrística. A partir de ahí, en el siglo XVI español, se conjugó con la existencia de las llamadas "arcas de caridad". El autor defiende que el clérigo de Maqueda que aparece en el Lazarillo de Tormes es representado como un contraejemplo de sacerdote, entre otras razones, por su arcón donde guardaba los restos de alimentos. Synthesis of trifluoromethylated 2-benzoyl- and 3-aminoimidazoles from ring rearrangement of 1,2,4-oxadiazole derivative

Fluoroalkylated 2-ylamino-imidazoles have been synthesized by reaction of 3-amino-5-phenyl-1,2,4-oxadiazole with fluorinated b-dicarbonyl compounds and subsequent base-induced BoultoneKatritzky Rearrangement (BKR) of the isolated b-enaminocarbonyl intermediate. Alternatively, one-pot reactions performed in the presence of Montmorillonite K10 favoured the condensation at the 3-amino moiety of the oxadiazole and, in some cases, allowed the direct synthesis of 2-benzoylamino-imidazoles. Hydrolysis of 2-benzoylamino-imidazoles easily yielded fluorinated 2-amino-imidazoles targets.
Influence of Offline Activities and Customer Value Creation on Online Travel Community Continuance Usage Intention

The purpose of this study is to empirically test a model that examines the roles of offline activities and customer value creation on tourists’ continuance use of online travel communities (OTCs). Hypotheses were tested through a sample of 251 respondents on Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk). SmartPLS structural equation modelling was used to test the structural model. Results indicated that offline activities significantly influence hedonic and social values, while this support was not found with functional value. Cetacean Morbillivirus: Current Knowledge and Future Directions

We review the molecular and epidemiological characteristics of cetacean morbillivirus (CeMV) and the diagnosis and pathogenesis of associated disease, with six different strains detected in cetaceans worldwide. CeMV has caused epidemics with high mortality in odontocetes in Europe, the USAand Australia. It represents a distinct species within the Morbillivirusgenus. Although most CeMV strains are phylogenetically closely related, recent data indicate that morbilliviruses recovered from Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops aduncus), from Western Australia, and a Guiana dolphin (Sotalia guianensis), from Brazil, are divergent.
