Ai visitatori tutti, in generale, è data la possibilità di godere delle rovine delle città, non solo per quanto riguarda il valore estetico aggiunto, ma anche, e soprattutto, per l’aspetto didattico del tipo d’intervento realizzato.

Puasona vienādojuma risināšana ir neatņemama elektronu struktūras aprēķinu sastāvdaļa. Atkarībā no pētāmās sistēmas periodiskuma, elektrostatiskajam potenciālam ir izdevīgi pielietot dažādus robežnosacījumus, taču pievienoto plakano viļņu bāzē Puasona vienādojumu risina, izmantojot periodiskus robežnosacījumus. Šajā darbā es implementēju Puasona vienādojuma risināšanas metodes, kas ir piemērotas arī aprēķinos joniem, molekulām, polimēriem un divdimensiju materiāliem. Šāda pieeja saglabā augstu precizitāti, arī samazinot vienības šūnas izmēru. Demonstrēju lielu ieguvumu nelokālas apmaiņas aprēķinos, izmantojot manu implementēto metodi.

Outlying location of logistics activities : the example of the Burgundy in France

International audience; This paper contributes to the understanding of spatial location of logistics activities in an outlying region. A quantitative analysis in Burgundy (French region) underlines the important polarization of warehousing developed in a limited area during 1980–1990s intensified during 2000s. The companies that locate their warehouses in Burgundy have different strategies that could explain this outlying location. For example, the low cost of land, favorable terms of tax system and the presence of a labour pool with an important unemployed rate incentive could incentive some companies to locate their warehouses in an outlying region like the Burgundy.
Rosenbluth separation of the $\pi^0$ Electroproduction Cross Section off the Neutron

We report the first longitudinal/transverse separation of the deeply virtual exclusive $\pi^0$ electroproduction cross section off the neutron and coherent deuteron. The corresponding four structure functions $d\sigma_L/dt$, $d\sigma_T/dt$, $d\sigma_{LT}/dt$ and $d\sigma_{TT}/dt$ are extracted as a function of the momentum transfer to the recoil system at $Q^2$=1.75 GeV$^2$ and $x_B$=0.36. The $ed \to ed\pi^0$ cross sections are found compatible with the small values expected from theoretical models. The $en \to en\pi^0$ cross sections show a dominance from the response to transversely polarized photons, and are in good agreement with calculations based on the transversity GPDs of the nucle…
Low-rank approximation based non-negative multi-way array decomposition on event-related potentials

Non-negative tensor factorization (NTF) has been successfully applied to analyze event-related potentials (ERPs), and shown superiority in terms of capturing multi-domain features. However, the time-frequency representation of ERPs by higher-order tensors are usually large-scale, which prevents the popularity of most tensor factorization algorithms. To overcome this issue, we introduce a non-negative canonical polyadic decomposition (NCPD) based on low-rank approximation (LRA) and hierarchical alternating least square (HALS) techniques. What makes segmentation good? A case study in boreal forest habitat mapping

Segmentation goodness evaluation is a set of approaches meant for deciding which segmentation is good. In this study, we tested different supervised segmentation evaluation measures and visual interpretation in the case of boreal forest habitat mapping in Southern Finland. The data used were WorldView-2 satellite imagery, a lidar digital elevation model (DEM), and a canopy height model (CHM) in 2 m resolution. The segmentation methods tested were the fractal net evolution approach (FNEA) and IDRISI watershed segmentation.
