Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 34 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 21 attēlu, 5 tabulas, 25 literatūras atsauces. Darba mērķis salīdzināt polarizēto un sarkani-zaļo filtru ietekmi uz stereoredzi, kā arī pievērst uzmanību rezultātu atšķirībai, kas rodas starp polarizēto un anaglifa metodi. Pētījumā tika izmantoti divi stereotesti, polarizētais tests uz Metropsis platformas un datorizēts anaglifa tests, kurš tika izstrādāts ar līdzīgu stimulu un uzdevumiem kā polarizētais tests. Pētījumā piedalījās 49 dalībnieki, kuru uzdevums bija izpildīt abus stereotestus. Tika noskaidrots, ka stereoasums ar polarizētajiem filtriem ir labāks nekā ar sarkani-zaļajiem filtriem. The odontogenic myxoma is a rare entity located in mandible and upper maxilla. Due to its local aggressiveness, wide surgical excision is mandatory. Several surgical techniques have been described for the reconstruction of segmental mandibular defects. In comparison with other free flaps, the vascularized free fibular flap (VFFF) supports the longest amount of bone and, due to the nature of the vascular supply a complete freedom in location of the osteotomy is present. Characterization of rhenium oxide films and their application to liquid crystal cells

Rhenium trioxide exhibits high electronic conductivity, while its open cubic crystal structure allows an appreciable hydrogen intercalation, generating disordered solid phases, with protonic conductivity. Rhenium oxide thin films have been obtained by thermal evaporation of ReO3 powders on different substrates, maintained at different temperatures, and also by reactive magnetron sputtering of a Re metallic target. A comparative investigation has been carried out on these films, by using micro-Raman spectroscopy and x-ray diffraction. The biological importance of microtubules in mitosis and cell division makes them an interesting target for the development of anticancer agents. Small molecules such as benzo[b]furans are attractive as inhibitors of tubulin polymerization. Thus, a new class of inhibitors of tubulin polymerization based on the 2-(3′,4′,5′-trimethoxybenzoyl)-benzo[b]furan molecular skeleton, with electron-donating (Me, OMe or OH) or electron-withdrawing (F, Cl and Br) substituents on the benzene ring, was synthesized and evaluated for antiproliferative activity, inhibition of tubulin polymerization and cell cycle effects. Šis darbs ir izveidots, lai noteiktu visplašāk izmantotos stāstījuma žanrus izvēlētajās ar zinātni saistītājās TEDxRiga runās, kā arī salīdzinātu tajās atrodamās popularizācijas diskursa valodas raksturiezīmes, kuras iegūtas šī darba veidošanas laikā, ar Mattiello (2017) pētījumu, kas veikts saistībā ar citām TED runām. Pētījumā izmantotā metode ir satura analīze. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka stāstījumi ir neatņemama TED runu žanra sastāvdaļa un atstāstījumi ir visplašāk izmantotais stāstījumu žanrs analizētājās runās. BACKGROUND: Central venous catheters are commonly inserted for hemodynamic monitoring, volume monitoring, administration of medications, long-term total parenteral nutrition, access for renal replacement therapy, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and difficult peripheral catheterization.
