W artykule przedstawiono ocenę zagrożenia walorów fizjonomicznych krajobrazu wzdłuż drogi krajowej Myślenice – Zakopane, jednej z najważniejszych dróg turystycznych Polski. Podstawą analizy była inwentaryzacja obiektów reklamy zewnętrznej po obydwu stronach drogi w pasmach o szerokości 100 m. Badany obszar ma bardzo istotne znaczenie w percepcji krajobrazów górskich polskiej części Karpat. W wyniku przeprowadzonej analizy stwierdzono bardzo wysoki stopień zagrożenia walorów widokowych przez reklamy. Celem pracy było rozpoznanie wpływu zanieczyszczeń komunikacyjnych na glebę i roślinność uprawnianą przy pasie drogowym. Zanieczyszczenia te, to nie tylko spaliny, ale również pyły powstające w wyniku tarcia opon o nawierzchnie drogi, płyny wyciekające z nieszczelnych instalacji oraz śmieci wyrzucane przez kierowców w trakcie jazdy. Roślina bytująca w takim środowisku, jest narażona na liczne stresy i uszkodzenia. Główną przyczyną wpływającą niekorzystnie na rozwój roślin, a nawet powodującą ich śmierć, jest potęgujące się stale zanieczyszczenie powietrza, zwłaszcza w rejonach śródmiejskich jak i wzdłuż obciążonych tras komunikacyjnych. This article explores the long-term dynamics of material use in France over a period of 185 years. It is based on material flow accounts that are perfectly consistent with the standards of Material Flows Analysis at the national economic scale. This work - which covers domestic extraction, imports and exports - is the first long-term study of material flows for France, with annual and national data for most of the period. Our database allows us to study the evolution of French metabolism during the industrialization of the country, together with the increasing dependence on abiotic materials. Le site de Roanne, occupé pendant plusieurs siècles, offre l'occasion de suivre l'évolution sur place d'un certain nombre de paramètres relatifs à la morphologie et à la gestion des animaux domestiques. Cette étude porte sur les restes osseux antérieurs au milieu de l'époque augustéenne. Parmi ceux-ci, l'échantillon étudié systématiquement a été réduit à un ensemble de séries cohérentes provenant du remplissage d'une trentaine de fosses bien datées. Stepmothers’ constructions and negotiations of belonging

Applying a narrative approach and symbolic interactionist frame of reference, this study examines how Finnish stepmothers in their written narratives construct and negotiate their belonging. Belonging is a relevant concept in this study since it focuses on social interaction and intersubjectivity, and their emotional content. Three types of belonging were identified: (a) restricted belonging, (b) dyadic stepmother–stepchild belonging and (c) the spousal relationship as a focal dyad of belonging. The article presents the composing output of Gizela Maria Skop (born 1939), the representative of the contemporary Polish composers of liturgical chants. Her compositions are embedded in the liturgical reform of Vatican Council II and emerged in close correlation to the biblical and liturgical texts. Thanks to the skilful combination of text and melody, her compositions gained a considerable appreciation and have become a part of the canon of the commonly used liturgical chants. The Fourier transform infrared spectra of Ac-(E)-deltaAbu-NHMe were analyzed to determine the predominant solution conformation(s) of this (E)-alpha,beta-dehydropeptide-related compound and the electron density perturbation in its amide groups. The measurements were performed in dichloromethane and acetonitrile in the region of mode vs (N-H), amide I, amide II and vs (C(alpha)=Cbeta).
